In Disney World, you’ll encounter plenty of stellar rides, special greetings from beloved characters, one-of-a-kind snacks, and so much more. But, between the magic and seemingly perfect atmosphere, there are actually a whole bunch of things in Disney World that aren’t so magical after all. That’s right — today we’re talking about 10 not-so-magical truths about Disney World.
When Park Hopping returned to Disney World in a modified way earlier this year, we had quite a few concerns about it, including whether it would be worth the cost, how the modified system would work in actuality, and more.

One BIG concern we had was whether guests would even be ABLE to park hop, as it is based on capacity and availability in the parks. When it was first announced, it sure seemed like we had to brace for the inability to hop due to capacity limits. Has this been an issue for us yet? Disney World Park Passes have been quickly filling up for quite a few days this year.
Don’t Forget to Get Your Park Passes Early!
Keep in mind that to enter a Disney World theme park right now you do need to have a valid ticket AND valid Park Pass for each theme park you want to visit for each day of your trip (and for each member of your party). If you’re planning on visiting the Disney World theme parks during the Fourth of July, the time to get your Park Passes is NOW!

And as COVID-19 vaccines continue to be distributed across the country, some things are returning to normal. In fact, we’ve been seeing more and more signs of this in Disney World lately. Let’s break it all down and take a look.

We’ve been reporting that Disney World Park Pass reservations have been going FAST. As a reminder, you’ll need one of these in addition to a valid theme park ticket in order to visit the parks! Disney has a habit of refilling these Park Passes as the dates in question grow closer, and now, we’ve seen some availability open up in May and June.

Well, if you’re thinking of heading to the parks specifically in June, NOW is the time to book those Park Passes (if you haven’t already)! Previously, Park Passes for June had already started to fill up, but now things are looking different.
You’re finally able to book your Disneyland Park Passes today!

Wayyy back in 2020, Disney established that a Park Pass reservation system like Disney World’s would be in place upon Disneyland’s reopening. This pass will be required in addition to a valid ticket, to help abide by capacity limits. And if you have an existing Disneyland ticket, you can make those reservations TODAY! But BOY has it been a saga.
There’s one Disney World theme park that’s a little bit harder to get to than others.
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Since the theme parks reopened last July, the Disney Park Pass theme park reservation system has been implemented to help keep the parks at limited capacity. It has been notoriously difficult to get into Disney’s Hollywood Studios and now it could be OVER TWO MONTHS until some guests can get in.
