Hello to all our DFB friends out there!

Polynesian Resort
We’ve spent a little time wandering around Disney World’s resorts to see what’s been going on since we were there last. So let’s get on with some updates, shall we?
Happy (almost) Mother’s Day! We’ve already taken a look at some of the limited time Mother’s Day treats coming to Disney World and we’ve been trying a bunch of them and sharing our thoughts.
This next Mother’s Day treat on our list brings us to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for a limited-time Key Lime Pie Sundae with lime soft serve! This treat certainly sounds promising, but can it deliver?
Another month has come and gone, which means it’s time once again to recap the best and worst things we ate in the month of April around Disney World!
This list is full of tasty and not-so-memorable snacks, so let’s waste no time and hop right in!
NOTE: As of this writing, several of the dining locations listed are currently unavailable and have yet to reopen. You can check out our list of the restaurants and other dining locations currently opened and closed in Disney World here. As always, we encourage you to follow along with our newsletter as well as the blog for all the latest Disney World dining news!
When it comes to dining at Disney World, there are countless options to choose from. But if we were to ask you to name your FAVORITE hotel in terms of restaurants, we think most of our readers would be quick to name their top pick.
We recently polled our readers and followers on Instagram to find out which Disney World Resort hotel YOU thought had the best dining. Here are your top picks!
It’s almost time for Star Wars fans’ favorite day of the year…May the 4th!
In preparation for the occasion, tons of guests have plans to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to celebrate and Disney World is offering several out-of-this-world treats to try! Today, we stopped by Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to test out one of those desserts.
Calling all Star Wars fans!! May the 4th (a.k.a. Star Wars Day) is coming up soon and we’ve got some great news!
You can celebrate Star Wars day at home by snagging some collectibles or new tees, cooking up Star Wars recipes, and watching the Star Wars films (of course). But, if you’ll be in Disney World, soon you’ll have the chance to try some out-of-this-world treats leading up to Star Wars Day!
Here at DFB, we like to consider ourselves experts on Disney snacks!
We visit the parks daily to try out all the interesting new eats that Disney releases. We have quite the list of favorites in the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. However, we ARE just one group of people, and there’s a good chance that other guests won’t always agree with our snack opinions. To see what a wider variety of people think, we reached out to our followers and asked “Which Disney snack will you NEVER ever eat again?” And honestly…the answers were all over the board!
We’re back with more updates from Disney World’s Resorts!

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
This time, we’ve been making our way all around the Disney World resorts, seeing what’s been happening since we last visited. And we’ve got quite a few updates for you, so let’s get started, shall we?
We’ve gotten some unique soft serve and DOLE whip creations at Pineapple Lanai in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
We got a WHOLE pineapple filled with DOLE whip, we got a DOLE whip combo we never knew we needed, and one with POPPING CANDY! And now we’ve found another limited time beauty and SPOILER ALERT: it. is. fantastic.
One of the things we loved the most about the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival merchandise was the updated Orange Bird Sipper.
Seriously, we LOVE that little guy! He’s been a hit since 2019 ever since he first turned up at The Citrus Blossom booth (which is pretty much a regular at EPCOT now throughout the year) at the 2019 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival. After that, he kinda just stick around. But this year, he got a new look, and we love him even more. Since the new Orange Bird sipper pushed the old one out, the older version has made its way to other locations. And now, you don’t even need a park ticket to get him! [Read more…]
