We’ve been trying limited-time holiday treats all around Disney World in recent weeks, including the Holiday Lunch Box Tart, the Red Velvet Whoopie Pie, and the Menagerie Cupcake, just to name a few!

Today, we’re at Pineapple Lanai in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to check out another new festive frozen snack!
Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration has FINALLY arrived, and it’s starting out with a bang! Disney has truly outdone themselves by launching 150 NEW treats across the parks and resorts. These treats are inspired by Walt Disney’s favorite dishes, as well as classic Disney treats, characters, and more!

We’ve been all over the resort already, trying items like the Mr. Toad Burger, Scar Cupcake, and Stump Mini Cake. Now, it’s time to head to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to try a special twist on a truly iconic Disney World snack.
There are few Disney World treats as beloved as Dole Whip.

Yes, we’ll admit, we’re obsessed with this frozen fruity snack, but it is ICONIC for a reason! There are endless possibilities when it comes to Dole Whip combinations — we’ve tried Coconut Raspberry, Lemon Lime, Pineapple Coconut, and SO many more! But today, we found something that will make fans of spice VERY happy.

Since Disney World’s reopening last year, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Disney Vacation Club rooms have been open. But as of today, the resort is now fully open including Moana rooms! So, of course, we stopped by to check it out!

It’s a very special day!
It’s the official reopening day of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. And although the Polynesian was previously only open to Disney Vacation Club members, it’s now open to EVERYONE. And we’re here checking everything out, including a special new treat!
When it comes to classic Disney World treats, it doesn’t get much more iconic than a Dole Whip!

Pineapple Dole Whip is the quintessential flavor, but guests can find plenty of other options around Disney World if they want to switch it up. In fact, we love trying out different Dole Whip flavor combos! And we just spotted a swirl option that’s perfectly refreshing for the summer heat.

That’s right, in honor of Experiment 626, June 26th is known as “Stitch Day.” And there are several ways you can celebrate the mischievous space invader. We’ve seen a few Stitch-themed treats pop up around Disney World, including a frozen snack that’s VERY on-brand for this trouble-maker!
It may still be May, but we’ve already got summer fun on the mind!

Dole Whip is a park STAPLE — trust us, we get it! But you’ll have to head OUTSIDE of the parks for some more unique creations. If you’re craving Dole Whip but don’t want to settle for an ordinary soft-serve, float, or (gasp!) pineapple flavor, go for one of these options instead.
