We’ve been sharing with you what it’s like at Disney Springs now that its phased reopening is underway.

And while STK Orlando was one of the first third-party restaurants we learned would be reopening on May 20th, we stopped by to see what service was like today with its new safety guidelines in place.
Vice President Mike Pence visited Orlando today to discuss tourism and the city’s reopening.

He spoke with representatives from the major theme parks Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld Orlando and “offered encouragement” to leaders in tourism.
Disney World’s theme parks and hotels still aren’t open but we spotted a very special reminder of them today at Disney Springs!

And while Disney-owned locations at Disney Springs aren’t expected to reopen until May 27th, check out the little bit of Disney magic we saw today!

Disney-owned locations won’t be opening until May 27th, but third-party stores and restaurants opened today with new health and safety guidelines. So we’re heading to the dock for a bite to eat and a view of the lagoon!

That’s because while the rest of Disney World’s theme parks and hotels will remain closed until further notice, some third-party restaurants and retailers have started reopening today.

We’ve been walking around checking out what’s new (umm, the new Homecomin’ Shine Bar & Social, anyone?!?) but now it’s time to duck in line for a quick Starbucks!
After parking and passing through the new health screening process, we’ve made it inside Disney Springs for the first time since mid-March!

And although Disney Springs doesn’t officially open until 10AM, we’re currently walking around to see what’s new or different before the some of the shops and restaurants start to open up. You can follow along with our live, all-day coverage here!
Disney parks are opening around the world, and health and safety measures are mandatory at this time to keep guests and employees safe. But one that seems standard across many entertainment venues, including Disney properties, is temperature screening.
