It’s a separately ticketed event that takes place in Disneyland after park hours. Each event has its own theme and includes special activities, meet and greets, snacks, and more. Well, a brand NEW After Dark event is coming to Disneyland soon: Princess Nite. And we’ve got a full list of everything coming to the event!
Are you sad that Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration ends in a month?
The 50th Anniversary Celebration is winding down
The celebration did last a full 18 months, after all. During that time, we had LOADS of special merchandise, as well as special snacks. Well, we’re now seeing some of those 50th anniversary snacks disappearing from Disney World menus, a sure sign that the big celebration is starting to wind down.
Okay, let’s face it — not all Disney World pizza is great. In fact, a lot of it is just…well, it’s enough to scratch the itch, we suppose.
Terra Treats
There are standout pizzas, though, including the pizza at Via Napoli at EPCOT, but pizza like that tends to be the exception to the rule — AND requires an advance dining reservation. However, we just found a quick-service pizza in Disney World that totally surprised us — in a good way.
It’s Mardi Gras season, but the French Market Restaurant AND Mint Julep Bar in Disneyland just CLOSED (to make way for the upcoming Tiana’s Palace restaurant). You know the Mint Julep Bar — the place where you could grab the delicious Mickey-shaped beignets at Disneyland? When we heard this news, we panicked a little, not gonna lie.

Of course, Disney knows better than to make us suffer from a lack of Mickey beignets, especially during Mardi Gras. Although the French Market Restaurant is permanently closed, the Mint Julep Bar will reopen later this year as part of Tiana’s Palace. In the meantime, you can grab Mickey beignets from another location at Disneyland!
We’re always excited to try new snacks in Disney World.

We check out all the spots, including table service restaurants, quick service spots, and snack stands. We headed over to Disney Springs recently to try a new sundae that’s inspired by our favorite fairy — Tinker Bell!
