This action comes at a time of much uncertainty when many organizations and businesses are having to choose how to navigate the escalation of COVID-19 in the United States.
In response to the Coronavirus outbreak, Disney World’s parks will not be opening today along with all the rest of the Disney parks across the world.

And while Disney World’s theme parks have been forced to temporarily close in the past before (mostly due to hurricanes), its Hotels have decided to remain open until 5 PM on March 20th, but are cancelling some of their normal operations in the meantime.
If you, like many, were planning on visiting Disney parks this spring and early summer, Disneyland and Disney World’s extended closures probably weren’t what you were all hoping for.

Disneyland Hotel’s Tangaroa Terrace, an island-inspired dining getaway, will close soon for a rather lengthy refurbishment.
