Today started off for us like any regular day at the Magic Kingdom. Everything was blue skies and Mickey balloons! Tra-la-la!

We’re finally getting into the swing of things with the New Year, so we’re poppin’ into Magic Kingdom to see what sort of updates we can find. Spoiler alert! There’s a good amount of construction and some refurbishments going on! Check out everything new that we spotted in food, construction, and merchandise!
Disney World’s Space Mountain is turning the BIG 45! While we’ve told you about the new anniversary merchandise and the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction Collection, featuring this month’s theme of Space Mountain, there’s ANOTHER iconic Tomorrowland attraction that is also celebrating its 45th birthday!

That’s right, fans of PROGRESS will recall the Carousel of Progress also made its big Disney World debut in 1975! While we knew there would be NEW merch launching to commemorate both of these attractions’ major milestones, we’re happy to say the collection has officially landed in the Magic Kingdom!
It’s a great, big, beautiful Tomorrowland!

Guess what! There’s not one, but TWO BIG anniversaries in the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland tomorrow! Space Mountain and Carousel of Progress are both hitting their 45th year of bringing their respective versions of fun to the guests of Disney World. We knew that we’d be seeing some Space Mountain merch from the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction Collection, but there are even more anniversary surprises! You’ll be able to find some special merchandise released especially for the occasion and we got a glimpse at what some of that fun new merch is going to be!
