Have you ever dined at the Ale & Compass Restaurant in Disney’s Yacht Club Resort?
If you’re not familiar, this Table Service restaurant serves coastal (New England-inspired) comfort cuisine, joining the Ale & Compass Lounge and The Market at Ale & Compass to form the Ale & Compass dining concept for the Resort. We’ve definitely been enjoying the snacks and ice cream available at Disney’s Beach Club Resort recently.
But, there is one amenity that guests at Disney’s Beach Club Villas have not been able to enjoy since the reopening, and now we’ve got some news about when it will be available!

Beaches & Cream‘s Kitchen Sink is the ULTIMATE ultimate food to share with your Disney squad. This massive sink-bowl is packed with scoops of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, cookies and cream, and mint chocolate chip ice cream and then topped with every ice cream topping in the restaurant (and a full can of whipped cream!). Yeah, it’s amazing.
The menu says the Kitchen Sink serves four — but if you’re with your squad of more than four, we’re pretty sure you’ll all feel satisfied after this one. [Read more…]
It’s time to take our tour of Walt Disney World Easter egg displays to the Yacht Club Resort! This display is smaller than the one at the Yacht’s Club’s counterpart, Beach Club, and it’s substantially smaller than the fabulous Grand Floridian display. But with a few delicately decorated eggs, it’s still a lovely display, indeed.
Topping it all off is this serene Dumbo egg surrounded by circus peanuts! [Read more…]

Wine lovers, take note! The Wonderful World of Wine will be presented at Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney World’s Yacht Club Resort on every second Wednesday of the month.
Guests will “sample the liquid legacies of some of the finest appellations and vineyards throughout California, Italy, France, Chile, Australia and more—and learn about their flavor profiles, winemaking techniques, and soil and climate conditions” from Advanced Sommelier Kristopher Soto. The Disney World Yacht and Beach Club Resorts’ shared pool, Stormalong Bay, is seeing some changes in both the menu at Hurricane Hanna’s and lots of construction on new Cabanas being added to the area.
The familiar shape of a cabanas can been seen popping up all around the pool.
The Yacht and Beach Club Resorts have so much to offer for the Disney Food Fan from ice cream sundaes and casual eats to a steakhouse! We’ve got all the menu updates for these two resorts here!
