It’s almost summer, y’all!

That means time to hit the water parks, eat ice cream, and indulge in frozen drinks all over Disney World. And we’re on it!
We’ll admit that we’ve spent a LOT of time watching Disney+, thanks to all its great movies and TV shows.

We’ve loved seeing new Star Wars shows, like The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch, and we’ve been obsessed with the Marvel TV offerings, like WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. And as of today, one of the most highly anticipated Marvel shows has finally premiered!
The long hazy days of summer are officially here, and we’re doing what we do — spending them all at Disney World!

And while we’re doing that, we’re checking out all the summer drinks and snacks including a boozy bacon bourbon, rainbow cake, and a Dole Whip cocktail flight. But we’re also tracking every menu change at Disney World restaurants, and we’ve got a few for you this week, including the return of some of our favorite snacks!
We know there is a LOT involved when it comes to planning for a Disney World trip. You’ll need to book the trip, make your park pass reservations, make your advance dining reservations, and figure out what to pack!

Wow — is it just us or did May just fly by? And it’s officially summer at Disney World — how did that even happen?

Of course, we’re ready for it (save for maybe the Florida heat and humidity), and we’re looking forward to all the great summer foods we’ll be eating over the next few months. May saw some pretty interesting snacks, though, including a secret menu Watermelon Dole Whipception snack, A Donut Burger, and Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls! And we also saw some menu updates at Disney World restaurants, so we’re going to get to those right now!
A LOT has changed at Disney World since the beginning of the year, and we’re starting to see the resort taking steps back toward what was considered “normal” pre-closure.
Will FastPass return to Disney World soon?
Recently, Disney World increased capacity, did away with temperature checks, began to reduce social distancing, and changed its face coverings policy. But there are still some Disney World programs that have not yet returned, most notably FastPass+.
During our many years going to Disney World, we’ve seen our share of unique souvenirs.

There was a gigantic $368 silver ant, there was a cringe-worthy Single Rider T-Shirt we’re still LOLing about, and there is even a whole collection of poisonous trinket trays. But today, we saw something that’s even more unique!
We’ve really enjoyed this year’s EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival!

We’ve enjoyed tasting all the great food, but also had a lot of fun with some of the festival activities. And we’ve loved seeing all the great festival merchandise! The festival is slowly wrapping up as it ends on July 5th.

And we’re so excited to spend our long summer days eating ice cream, hitting up Blizzard Beach, and sitting at home in our air conditioning watching Disney+.
