A BRAND-NEW event has begun in Disneyland!

Disney Channel Nite is happening for the first time EVER and of course, we just had to check it all out. The event will be “highlighting themed offerings from favorite Disney Channel shows across various eras of programming with fantastic music, memorable characters, high-energy parties, unique photo opportunities, and more!” So, let’s check it out!
The Walt Disney Company is in the middle of a proxy battle with activist investor, Nelson Peltz, who is petitioning to get a seat on the Company’s Board of Directors. Trian Partners nominated Peltz to be elected to the Board, but the current board does not endorse him.

Both Disney and CEO Bob Iger have urged shareholders to vote against Peltz and pals in the upcoming shareholder meeting on April 3rd, with some help from cartoon allies and Walt Disney’s own grandchildren. But now, Peltz has penned a new memo detailing just how poor of a job he thinks Iger is doing.
Disney+ has been the home of all things Disney since 2019, and slowly but surely, they’ve been adding to their catalog.

It isn’t just familiar House of Mouse titles on the platform these days, especially with the Hulu app merger adding an entire other library of content into the mix. But, since Disney owns a few different production studios, we get to experience all sorts of titles. And, an Academy Award-nominated film for Best Picture will be exclusively streaming on Disney+ in select markets soon!

Back in 2023, Disney announced that the Cabins at Fort Wilderness would be getting a makeover. Imagineers have redesigned these spaces to become the Disney Vacation Club Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort (but you don’t have to be a Disney Vacation Club member to book a stay in a new cabin.)
