While we were in Disney’s wildest park this week, we found a LOT of new snacks, some brand-new merchandise, and 50th Anniversary decorations with a special Animal Kingdom twist! Let’s check out all the updates that came to the park.
Sprinkles Cupcakes is a fun bakery in Disney Springs (in Disney World) and the Downtown Disney District (at Disneyland Resort) that serves up unique cupcakes, cookies, and more.
Sprinkles Cupcakes
Some locations of this spot even have a cupcake ATM outside where you can buy a treat to go without even stepping inside the store! Each month, you can find some limited-time flavors at this spot. For September, Sprinkles is bringing back a few favorite cupcake flavors — but you’ll have to get there in time to try them all!
Recently, we checked out the delicious new Lemon Poppyseed desserts at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney World.

In addition to yummy cookies and cakes, Gideon’s has cold brew coffee, and more. Gideon’s Bakehouse has also served up cake dips in the past (which taste great, but look…interesting) and today cake dips are BACK with a special flavor!
Lots of changes have taken place at Disney World over the past few months, and many new things are on the way.
La Creperie de Paris!
Some of the newest things coming to Disney World will be opening over at EPCOT’s France pavilion. Soon, guests will get the chance to enjoy Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, but they’ll also get the chance to do something very important…EAT at a new restaurant — La Crêperie de Paris! Dole whip, cupcakes, cookies, milkshakes, and more can be found all around the parks, and we try to taste as many as possible! So today, when we found a really interesting new treat in Animal Kingdom, we just had to taste for ourselves!
There are several snacks around Disney’s theme parks that are iconic. One of those is the Disney Churro!

While there are some tasty churros in Disney World, some out there might argue that the churros at Disneyland are superior. The California resort has had quite the plethora of churro treats, from the classic churro to fun flavors like S’mores and Fluffernutter. And, of course, there’s the incredibly scrumptious and magical Churro Toffee. But this time, we’re having a churro palooza in Disney World! That’s right — we found FOUR (!!!) churro-themed treats in Disney World today. But, are any of these worth the cash and calories? We had to find out!

And who could forget ALL of those sweets over in Hollywood Studios right now for Halloween?! It’s a great time to have a sweet tooth in Disney World and it just got even BETTER because we found FOUR new cupcakes today in Animal Kingdom! And, guess what? They’re all adorably themed to Russell’s Wilderness Explorer Badges from Pixar’s Up!
