If you’re in the mood for a sweet treat, The Cake Bake Shop Bakery has you covered and then some.
This bakery is connected to The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant on Disney’s BoardWalk, and it’s home to some massive (and fairly pricey) treats. We have loved most of the things we have tried here, and now it’s time to review three more treats!
Disney just filed a Notice of Commencement permit, which notifies the government of large construction projects, for our favorite Disney World drop ride, Tower of Terror.
At first, it didn’t look too interesting – just for general construction. But what we saw next spooked us!
When it comes to snacks at Walt Disney World, there are many, many, MANY options… meaning that someone with pretty much any taste buds.
For example, during a recent trip to the “Most Magical Place on Earth,” one of our team members had a treat at EPCOT that became their FAVORITE thing on the trip, to the point that they’ve been daydreaming of it ever since.
Here at Disney Food Blog, we love a good pair of Minnie Ears. But we won’t lie, they can be a pretty penny if you’re getting them from the Disney parks. So when we saw this pair of Minnie Ears for only $10, we had to try them!
These Mouse Ears are handmade, soft, and they look just like the real thing! But for only $9.99, how does this Amazon dupe compare to official Minnie Ears?
For decades, refillable mugs have been a favorite souvenir for many Disney fans. The current incarnation are 16 oz. insulated coffee mugs that are sold for about $23 at Disney hotels in the primary Counter Service location. Those on the Disney Dining Plan also receive a mug as part of their package.
Guests are entitled to unlimited free refills on fountain drinks, coffee, and tea from participating beverage locations at Disney resort hotels (both the one they’re staying at as well as others on property) for their length of stay up to 14 days. Each mug features an RFID barcode, which enables the mug to deactivate when the designated time is complete.
Disney World is in a period of transition, including construction on new lands, refurbishments of old favorites, and some new dining hotspots!
Over the past year, Disney has opened some majorly popular spots, including GEO-82 (the Spaceship Earth-themed lounge at EPCOT), The Beak and Barrel (the Pirates of the Caribbean-themed bar at the Magic Kingdom), and The Perch (the gilded Victorian-themed lobby bar at the Grand Floridian).
Each of these new lounges opened to positive reviews and heavy demand, and still draw big crowds (though reservations for GEO-82 and Beak and Barrel are slightly easier to come by). Now, a new crop of spots have opened at Disney World, with several more on the way.
It’s no secret that Disney World’s hotels are loaded with dining options, from quick service eateries and food courts to award-winning table service restaurants. However, the best all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurant at a Disney hotel may be hiding a bit under the radar.
Sebastian’s Bistro, which Disney calls a place where guests can transport their “taste buds to ‘island time’ with delightful family-style dishes infused with rich Latin and Caribbean flavors”, is located at the Moderate Tier Caribbean Beach Resort.
