Anyone who has been to Walt Disney World knows that there’s no shortage of things to buy at Disney World. From snacks and souvenirs to collectibles and candy, there are many, MANY options. However, some things just aren’t worth picking up at the resort.

That’s not to say that most of these items aren’t essential, but rather that for many of them, the smarter play is to pick them up outside of Disney property.
Big changes are coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this fall, and we wanted to make sure you had it circled on your calendar.
Walt Disney Studios — Animation Building
Hollywood Studios is seeing a lot of transformations this year. With the newly reopened Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets to the big Monstropolis construction, there is a lot happening here! Starting September 14th, an entirely new lineup of experiences will open, bringing back a beloved piece of the park’s opening-day history along the way.

D23 Disney+ Pavilion
Disney+ subscribers have a new perk where they can enter a D23 sweepstakes and win a ton of exclusive merchandise. You’re seriously going to want to check this out, but don’t take too long because the sweepstakes is only here for a limited time!
We have to admit it…there are some really great restaurants in Downtown Disney, and a lot of them are still pretty new. We’ve found some of our favorite new places to eat with all the updates the shopping and dining district has made…and even MORE restaurants are still on the way.
Gordon Ramsay at the Carnaby
Now, we were most excited about Gordon Ramsay at the Carnaby, which recently opened in Downtown Disney. Well, now there’s a NEW reason to get excited about this restaurant: it’s now serving lunch seven days a week!
It’s hard to believe that summer is starting to wind down, and, technically, it’s fall in Disney World, at least if you’re walking through Magic Kingdom, because all the fall and Halloween decor is on full display. It doesn’t quite FEEL like fall, but September will be here before you know it, and that’s pretty much the end of summer on the calendar, right?

Well, if you’ll be visiting Disney World in September, some pretty big changes are coming to the resort and parks. So let’s take a look at these changes.
It’s no secret that we love the Cake Bake Shop at Disney World. The restaurant and bakery serve high-quality meals and treats on the gorgeous BoardWalk of Crescent Lake!
Snickerdoodle Cheesecake Bar
One of our favorite treats from Cake Bake is a fall-exclusive treat, and it was just announced that the Snickerdoodle Cheesecake Bar is BACK!
The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival will be here before you know it, and we’re pretty excited. OF COURSE, we’re excited because this year’s festival is bringing almost 100 new food items to EPCOT, and we are ready to try them all!
We love festivals, but finding a table at one? Good luck!
BUT…we still have a big beef with EPCOT festivals, and we bet you’ve probably had this problem, too: there are never enough places to eat. That means you pretty much just end up using the top of a trash can as a table, and yes, we’ve all done it. Well, EPCOT just made a huge change that could mean the end of trashcan dining forever.
When you’re visiting Magic Kingdom, there’s just so much to see and do. Now, of course, you’ll want to ride ALL the rides, especially all those classic rides. But you’ll also want to make time for the entertainment, including the Festival of Fantasy parade and Disney Starlight.
Happily Ever After
But one of the most ICONIC shows you can see in Magic Kingdom happens just before the park closes. We’re talking about the nightly Happily Ever After fireworks show, which will make you laugh, cry, and feel nothing but joy (EVERY time, y’all). Well, if you’re visiting Disney World soon, we’ve got a big fireworks update to share with you.
If you’ve visited Magic Kingdom recently, you’ve probably seen all the construction happening around the park. Right now, a big Cars expansion is going in where Rivers of America used to be, while Villains Land is being built behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Big Top Souvenirs
Over in Storybook Circus, a popular souvenir store, Big Top Souvenirs, has been closed since February. We’ve been following construction progress at the site, but now Disney has surprised us with some big news: Big Top Souvenirs will reopen tomorrow!
