The Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort has been closed since the COVID-19 pandemic-related shutdown of Disney World, but Disney has just revealed that it will finally be reopening!

The Garden View Lounge is set to reopen sometime “in early 2026,” and we’ve got all the details released so far!
We hope you brought your appetite, because a TON of new snacks are coming to Disneyland Resort for the holiday season, and we can’t wait!
Disney just dropped the FULL LIST of eats and treats coming to Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney, and the Disneyland hotels. Let’s check them out (and WARNING: there are a LOT)!
Look, we’ve all rope-dropped a bathroom. Five people, one sink, a countdown clock louder than the monorail’s “por favor,” and a mountain of damp ponchos glaring at you from the towel rack like Force ghosts. Disney, we love you—deeply, irrationally, with MagicBand tan lines to prove it—but your hotel bathrooms are still stuck somewhere between “1971 opening day” and “why is this mirror gaslighting my contour?”

Here’s the manifesto Disney bathrooms didn’t know they needed, equal parts practical salvation and gloriously whimsical chaos. We are demanding these items to avoid a bathroom apocalypse and a pre-park meltdown.
Do you ever see something happen and wish more than anything you could have been RIGHT there? Since we have the super cool job of heading into Disney World nearly every day, or writing about all things Disney from home, it’s not often we feel super envious, but this? Oh, this is a different story.

Among all the members of our team, we all had lots of different Disney celebrity crushes as kids. For some of us, it was Chad Dylan Cooper from “Sonny with A Chance,” for others it was Jackson or Oliver from “Hannah Montana,” or maybe even Troy from High School Musical. If you were like me, though, it may have been one (or all three) of The Jonas Brothers. So imagine our MELTDOWN when we realized they were just IN Disney World at one of our favorite spots!
Each year, we eat WAY TOO MUCH at EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival. Can you blame us? The event is chock-full of longtime favorites and brand-new delicacies to try, usually leaving us totally full when walking out of the park, to the point where we couldn’t eat another bite… until we’re offered a sampling of foods from some of Disney World’s best restaurants of course.

Each year, the Swan & Dolphin Resorts stage a special weekend in conjunction with the final weeks of EPCOT’s premier festival: The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic!
Walt Disney World offers just about every kind of food you could want… if you know where to look. If I’m in the mood for pot roast, it’s the ‘50s Prime Time Cafe; if I’m feeling steak, I’m booking Le Cellier (cliches are cliches for a reason), but before I get too hungry, let’s talk Mexican restaurants.

I’ve been visiting Disney World for 30+ years, and during that time I’ve had countless delicious Mexican meals, some of them at Disney restaurants that are a bit… off the beaten path.
Well, it’s happened. We’ve said goodbye to spooky season in Disney World, and hello to the holiday season (the first decorations have started popping up!).

The alarm went off at 6 AM sharp, and everyone managed to pull themselves out of bed in time to make it to Magic Kingdom for rope drop. You may or may not have been smack-talking on the way in about how good you are at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin on the trip over. Everyone has been warming up their fingers and preparing to show you who is boss. Everything so far this morning has been leading up to this moment…only for your whole family to find out that Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is undergoing a planned closure.

However, Disney announces some closures in advance, and we want to make sure you know about them. If you are heading to Disney World this week, you need to read this so you know what will be closed and which rides you shouldn’t hype up!
