food IS a theme park
If you need us, we’ll be at McDonald’s!
Ursula Boo Bucket!
It was a week ago that we found out that McDonald’s was dropping Disney Villains Boo Buckets, and we’ll be honest, we were freaking out about them. McDonald’s dropped Boo Buckets during spooky season last year, and they’re officially back again. However, this time they have a Disney twist to them!
Disney World, specifically the hotels, will be seeing a LOT of change in November, especially with the seasons changing!
BoardWalk Outdoor Christmas Tree
Whether it’s added decor, refurbishments, or special events, November is bound to be a month of change at the Disney World resorts. We never want you to be surprised during your vacation, so we’ve compiled a full list of changes! Let’s take a look!
If you’re an early bird planning a stay at one of Disney World’s resort hotels, we have a word of warning for you.
It’s a Minnie waffle!
Picture this: Your alarm goes off at 5:15 AM. You’ve laid out your outfit the night before, your MagicBand is charged (well, the charging part is a lie, but you get it), and you’re SO ready to be first in line for rope drop. You shuffle down to your resort’s food court, dreaming of a Mickey waffle and a giant iced coffee… and you’re met with dark windows and pulled-down gates. Cue the sad trombone.
Picture this: after a long day of traveling, you finally arrive in Disney World. You check into your hotel, unpack your suitcase, and then…head to the Water Park?
Typhoon Lagoon

We all love eating around the world during any of EPCOT’s amazing festivals, but sometimes it can make guests overlook other good spots to dine at the park!
Sunshine Seasons
We recently went to Sunshine Seasons, which is a quick-service restaurant in EPCOT’s The Land Pavilion, and we have to share our thoughts on this new plant-based dish with you. It can sometimes be hard to find delicious plant-based dishes at Disney World, but that’s what we’re here for!
Working from home can be one of the best things, but it doesn’t come without some frustrations. It can be hard to sit in the same place every day without the chance to get up and mingle with coworkers, and if your desk isn’t set up right, the workday can feel much longer than it needs to be.

We did not think we could get any more excited for the classiest Holiday event of the year until Disney World went ahead and confirmed two BRAND-NEW characters!
Mike Wazowski
That’s right, Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will have two all-new characters this year, both from the world of Monsters, Inc.
Okay, we LOVE to meet characters in Disney World, and it’s one of our favorite things we can experience in the parks. The cool thing, too, is that most characters have a set meet-and-greet spot, so you can just find them there at the times listed in the My Disney Experience app. SO easy.
Live-Action Ariel
However, sometimes, those meet and greet spaces move due to construction, logistics, or something else. So that’s why we’re warning you about one character meet and greet in Disney’s Hollywood Studios because it’s moving soon.
Here at Disney Food Blog, we’re at Disney World almost 24/7 for work. We’re always checking out the Disney World parks for new snacks, so we’re Disney World veterans with tried-and-true park essentials.
