Since we last checked in, the 2023 Festival of the Arts began! If you missed our posts we were in the park on the first day of the festival reviewing all of the food booths and checking out all of the festivities.

Whether you’re ready or not, it’s coming up FAST — and next year is sure to be a big one for Disney World. Between new restaurants, attractions, and more, there are a lot of ongoing projects throughout the parks and resorts. We’re heading into 2023, and that means we’re one step closer to the completion of a MAJOR construction project in Disney World!
EPCOT
The EPCOT transformation has been underway for a few years now, but it’s finally coming to a close in 2023! Before the end of the year, we’ll get to see the revamped World Celebration, as well as the addition of Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana. We’re still a ways away from the end of the project, but what does that construction progress look like right now?
Lots of changes are happening in Disney World in 2023. And we want to make sure you are really prepared to conquer the parks on your trip!
Cinderella Castle
There are some big opening dates coming up, like the official opening of the Moana-themed Journey of Water and the completion of the EPCOT transformation. But unfortunately, there will also be some closures. Some of these closures are permanent, some of left over from the COVID-19 park closures, and others are refurbishments.
