The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers is still relatively new to Disney’s BoardWalk, but it’s been around long enough now that most Disney World fanatics — like ourselves — have formed some pretty strong opinions about this restaurant. A few weeks ago, we were highlighting a fall-themed slice of cake that had a lot of people’s mouths watering — but there was also some valid criticism that popped up that’s too true to ignore.

The Destiny features several exciting new experiences for the line, including a heavy Marvel presence (a Spider-Man stern character, a fresh take on the World of Marvel restaurant featuring the Guardians of the Galaxy, a Wakanda-themed atrium, and a Doctor Strange lounge that recreates the Sanctum Sanctorum), a Hercules stage show, a Pirates of the Caribbean lounge,  and — our focus today — a NEW Lion King dining experience!

Another week has passed in Disney World, and it’s been a fun one. The new Zootopia show opened in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and we got to meet Nick and Judy right after we caught the show for the first time.

BREAKING: Disney Cruise Line Drops Details About Disney Adventure Restaurants

Disney Cruise Line’s first ship to sail from Singapore, the Disney Adventure, will be setting off on its maiden voyage soon, on March 10th, 2026 (and yes, we just realized how close we are to 2026 right now!). The ship will sail from Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre and throughout Southeast Asia on 3- and 4-night cruises.

The ship has a theme revolving around adventure, but most importantly, it will also have FOOD. Disney Cruise Line just recently revealed what rotational dining will be like on the ship, including a list of the ship’s restaurants and a first look at some of the food…we’re already drooling!
