Earlier this month, Disney World announced a ton of this year’s holiday season events, including a new after hours event —Â Disney Very Merriest After Hours.
If you’re considering a trip to Disney World for Christmas this year, we have a few tips you should keep in mind so you don’t wind up doing Christmas totally WRONG. Any trip to Disney World is full of challenges, planning, and stress, and traveling during the holiday season can make things more complicated!
Disney has had several after hours events in the past, including Disney After Hours in Magic Kingdom, Disney After Hours in Animal Kingdom, and Disney Villains After Hours.
These events happen after the parks close and usually include complimentary snacks and drinks and shorter lines for the rides! Some events offered more, like special entertainment and ride overlays at the Villains After Hours! This year, two after hours events have replaced normal holiday parties in Disney World. Disney has given us a TON of Disney World holiday news recently!
Disney has confirmed that a new Christmas event Disney Most Merriest After Hours will replace Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. They have also confirmed that holiday projection shows, EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, holiday characters including Santa Claus, the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll, AND the Disney World Resort gingerbread displays will return. So questions are still lingering about the 2021 holiday season in Disney World?!

So, now the real question is just how this new Disney Very Merriest After Hours event differs when compared to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
