Disney isn’t the only one getting all geared up for their BIG 50th-anniversary celebration happening in 2021!
While major restaurant chains like White Castle and Portillo’s have recently announced they’d be opening new Disney World-area locations, now the nationwide Drury Hotel Company has revealed its plans to build a new Disney Springs resort location!
Magic Kingdom’s entryway has been undergoing some major construction for some time now!
And while you may have just finally made sense out of all the confusion, today a new pathway opened for guests arriving at the Disney World theme park via ferryboat!
Changes keep comin’ to Walt Disney World especially with the huge transformation taking place in Epcot and with the construction of new attractions like TRON Lightcycle Run and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Now, we have noticed that an iconic piece of Hollywood Studios signage has mysteriously vanished from its grounds!

With the Epcot transformation in full swing, there’s been a lot of work going on around Epcot’s Test Track in Future World!
But now among the construction frenzy of new Space 220 restaurant and the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind coaster, Test Track is about to be stopping dead in its tracks!

It frankly rocked our worlds to imagine what this could mean for the iconic geodesic sphere that’s graced the front entranceway of Epcot since the second Disney World park opened in 1982.
If it seems like there’s always construction news out of Disney Springs, that’s because there is. City Works Eatery & Pour House is nearing completion in West Side, and not too far away, two more dining locations are just embarking on their construction journeys.

In addition to the Tomorrowland Speedway reopening for guests today, we got a GREAT view of the progress on the upcoming TRON coaster — things are going vertical!
We first spotted some of the vertical beams (some of which will be 80 ft tall!) going up at the beginning of May. You can check out some more photos of the construction and everything else that’s new in the Magic Kingdom here!
