Wait times have been on the rise for the last week. We anticipated this increase, and sure enough, the parks have been pretty crowded all weekend! Let’s take a look at what it was like today.

Happy New Year everyone and welcome to 2021 in Disney World!
It’s still one of the busiest times of the year, with folks celebrating New Year’s and many on holiday breaks from work or school. So we’re taking a look at the average wait times in ALL FOUR PARKS! Let’s see how this week compared to last week, and which wait times were surprisingly low or high.
We’re kissing 2020 goodbye at Disney World today! It’s been a long year and we’re ready to move forward into 2021.
Disney World is celebrating New Year’s Eve a little differently this year. The theme parks are closing before midnight for health and safety reasons. Guests are encouraged to ring in the new year from their resort where Disney will host special activities tonight. We’re heading into the parks to see what the crowds, wait times, and the overall vibe is like.Â
If you’ve been in Walt Disney World this week, you’ve surely noticed that the crowds are pretty hefty!
We’ve seen crazy long lines for attractions, large groups of people everywhere we go, and even 3-hour waits for cookies! We expected things to be busy the week after Christmas, but now we’re beginning to understand just how crowded it could get, even with capacity limits. And the crowds aren’t going anywhere yet. Let’s take a look at the Park Pass availability for New Year’s Eve!
Having some post-holiday blues? Step inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom for a little pick-me-up!
It’s time to head into the theme park full of wild animals and wild rides! We headed inside to seek out new food, merchandise, and attraction updates. Come check out what’s new at Animal Kingdom!
Christmas has come and gone, but the holiday season isn’t over just yet!
As the crowds continue to make their way to Disney World for New Year’s to welcome the beginning of 2021, we’re giving you a look at the crowds we have spotted following Christmas Day in the parks!
Merry Christmas Eve, everybody! This time of year historically is the MOST crowded in Disney World, and we wanted to head into Magic Kingdom to see what 2020 would bring. With capacity in the parks limited to 35%, we knew the park wouldn’t feel as shoulder-to-shoulder packed as it has in previous years. But would crowds swell? How much?
If you’re here to see what Walt Disney World crowds look like during the busiest week of the year, then we’ve got you covered! We saw really unpredictable crowd levels during Thanksgiving week and we saw really high crowds when the holiday celebrations first arrived in early November, so we weren’t entirely sure what to expect today. Let’s dive right in to some photos to see what crowd levels today are REALLY like!
It may be hard to believe, but Disney World’s four theme parks have been reopened since JULY of this year. We know, we know, time has just FLOWN by this year, right? Okay, so maybe the idea of time itself is all sorts of jumbled this year, but it’s true! And in the months since Disney World reopened, a lot has changed.
Specifically, we noticed six major areas that have seen changes in the last few months. It’s pretty safe to say that when Disney World reopened in July, there were a whole ton of new rules, regulations, guest offerings, there was even a new castle color! But what has changed SINCE July?Â
Walt Disney World usually receives much bigger crowds during the holiday season!
Every year, guests flock to the parks to experience the holiday offerings and take advantage of their vacation time off. Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, and New Year’s Eve is notoriously crowded with out-of-towners. The trend seems to be the same this year, despite Disney World reducing capacity limits since the closure in March. We’re in the parks today taking note of the crowds and wait times to better prepare you for your holiday trip to Disney World in 2020.
We already knew that Disney World would be busy on Halloween! We saw park pass reservations for today disappear pretty quickly, after all!
But we are there on the spookiest day of the year, and we’ve got photos and videos to show you just how crowded it really is!
