Okay, listen here. We know that Disney, as a company, is all about them SECRETS! 🤫
They’re constantly hiding little Easter eggs in their movies, adding little nods to important attractions or people in their theme parks, and, over the years, we’ve seen our fair share of hidden Mickeys EVERYWHERE. But there are some little details that only a Disney MASTER will have picked up on, and today we’re sharing our list of the top 16!
These days, it can sometimes feel like Disney rides are closing left, right, and center!
No, don’t worry, most of them are not closing PERMANENTLY. Some attractions have just been shutting down for a little while to get general maintenance. We’ve seen it happen recently with several fan-favorites at Disney World, and multiple rides at Disneyland Resort have had scheduled refurbishments as well. Today, ANOTHER popular ride is closing for a little while!
A big part of Disneyland Park is getting a makeover, and the work has begun!
At the end of 2021, we learned that Mickey’s Toontown would be getting a complete reimagining, which requires the area to be completely shut down. The area officially closed on March 9th, 2022, and isn’t expected to open again until early 2023. So, we recently went by to check out the area — let’s see what it looks like right now!
Last year, Disneyland teased the return of one nighttime parade that has withstood the test of time. And, as of next month, it is officially coming BACK — along with TWO other fan-favorite shows!
That’s right — we’re talking about the Main Street Electrical Parade, Disneyland Forever fireworks, and World of Color! We already knew that these shows would be returning to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure on April 22nd, but now we know exactly WHEN you’ll need to be stationed on Main Street, U.S.A or at Paradise Gardens Park to enjoy them! Refurbishment is a typical part of Disney Parks life. We often see rides and pools on the refurbishment schedule, but we’ve got a big restaurant update!
Three popular Disneyland rides have recently undergone or are still undergoing refurbishment, and another restaurant joined the list! Will this closure affect your next visit to Disneyland? Let’s find out!
As if our wallets weren’t screaming already from all the new Disney merchandise released lately, Disneyland REALLY wants us to do some shopping.
Today Disneyland just opened a NEW store, and it’s actually MORE than just a store because it’s FULL of history, easter eggs, and more! If you’re a fan of Merlin, you’re going to LOVE this new shop!
Disney is no stranger to controversy.
We know not everyone can agree on everything obviously, but there are some things that have created more controversy than others among Disney fans. Certain snacks like turkey legs, shows like Enchantment, and even ride makeovers like Frozen Ever After! But, there is one thing in Disney history that might have been the most controversial of all among fans…can you guess what it is?
When you walk into Disneyland and see that Mickey Mouse flower bed, you know it’s gonna be a good day!
However, if you’ve been to Disneyland the last few days, you might have noticed that Mickey isn’t there. After nearly 70 years of operation, Mickey is absent from the hillside under the Disneyland Railroad. Why? Because Disney is celebrating another iconic Mouse for International Women’s History month! We’ve seen some great snacks over in Disney World celebrating Women’s History Month, so let’s take a look at Disneyland’s tribute to their most iconic lady!
