Slowly but surely, more restaurants are reopening at Disney Springs.
And today, you can add another quick service restaurant to the list of opened spots: Cookes of Dublin!
We here at DFB talk a lot about what the BEST food items are in Disney World.
We have lots of favorites — some are classic and some are brand-new — but there are some Disney foods that are undeniably good. How? They’ve stood the test of time!
We’re taking a look at some of the dishes in Disney that have been around since OPENING DAY of their park or restaurant. You KNOW how often menus change in Disney, so that’s quite a feat!
OK, this is…adorable, tbh. We couldn’t be more excited to tell you guys about the new Fish and Chips merch we just spotted in Epcot! That’s right, dearies! We said FISH and CHIPS!!!
We’ve eaten more fish and chips than we can count (and would ever admit to!) at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop and Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room!
While we were strolling around Epcot for the first day of the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival we stopped by one of our favorite places for a quick bite in World Showcase, Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the UK Pavillion.

Yorkshire County Fish Shop
While the most popular food is in the name (and they do have some crazy good fish and chips here!), every so often they change it up and offer other traditional fares. We saw a chicken and mushroom pie here not too long ago, and now it looks like a new rendition of that pie has emerged in the form of the Cornish Pasty.
All eyes in Epcot are on World Showcase Lagoon in 2019, because IllumiNations — the beloved fireworks, laser, and light show — is scheduled to end in the second half of the year. And to make the most of the final nights of the show, Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room in Epcot’s United Kingdom is now offering Illuminations Dining Packages!
Tonight is the first official night of this dining package which includes three courses and a patio seat for the big show! And thanks to DFB’s Travel Agent partner, Small World Vacations’ Sue P., who happened to get a preview last night — we’ve got everything you need to know about this unique dining experience BEFORE it officially begins!
Fish and Chips is a staple dish at Disney Springs’ Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant and Cookes of Dublin (the counter service spot that’s Raglan-adjacent!). But what if you’re visiting the shopping district with food allergies? There’s a fish and chips for you!
Earlier this month we told you about the new Vegan Slaw Dog that’s on the menu at Casey’s Corner in the Magic Kingdom, and now we have details about another Disney World restaurant that is testing a vegan version of a popular dish!
Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room was testing a NEW Vegan Fishless Fish and Chips dish this week! [Read more…]

Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room
is a favorite of many Walt Disney World guests — and it’s easy to see why.
The charm of this table service restaurant is apparent from the curb, as the facades of the United Kingdom in Epcot’s World Showcase blend from one architectural era to the next. And inside the doors? The charm continues.
But all the charm in the world doesn’t mean a thing if the food isn’t good — and here, it’s good. Almost across the board, we’ve enjoyed our visits to Rose & Crown, no matter whether we dined in the Dining Room or in the Rose & Crown Pub that’s adjacent to the restaurant proper.
On our last visit, we tried a Battered Bangers and Mash dish in the pub, but on this most recent visit, we were in the mood for the Dining Room — and those entrees!
Rose & Crown impresses from the jump, with the exteriors heavy and classic. We love the dark green window casings of the Rose & Crown Pub.
Party people, it’s time for everyone’s favorite mid-March excuse to drink good beer, eat some fish and chips, and enjoy some Irish entertainment! Yup: the Mighty Festival for St. Patrick’s Day kicks off today and continues through March 17 and 18 at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant!
This is THE ST. PATRICK’S DAY FESTIVAL YOU WANT TO GO TO. TRUST ME.
Let’s check out what’s happening!
The Sixth Annual Great Irish Hooley
will return to Disney Springs with song, dance, and general Celtic merrymaking at Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant!
Mark your calendars, as the Hooley kicks off at 3:00PM on Friday September 1, and runs clean through the weekend, to end late on Labor Day, Monday, September 4.
The Great Irish Hooley live music line-up includes Elevation, a U2 tribute band; the Lisa Canny Band; and the Gary O’Meara Band.
The Hooley will feature a full range of family-friendly entertainment, as the Raglan Road Irish Dancers are on hand to perform throughout each day. There will also be Celtic face painting Saturday through Monday. There’s no cover charge for this event.
