The parks shut down for several months and the Walt Disney Company suffered financially due to the pandemic. Thousands of Cast Members lost their jobs, and when the parks did reopen, they reopened without a lot of the amenities we’ve grown to love. Even though things like fireworks, parades, and FastPasses still haven’t returned, some exciting things are already happening in 2021.

We tried LOTS of delicious snacks, hacked a grilled cheeeeeese with BACON on a donut(!!!), and got to check out some brand new artwork celebrating Soul and Black History Month. And the’ve upped their game recently and offered more than baked goods: they also sell coffee cups and face masks! But if you want to show your Gideon’s pride another way, we’ve got good news. Can you BELIEVE we’re already done with the first month of 2021? Honestly January has already felt like an entire YEAR when it comes to Disney news, and when it comes to food, we have definitely run the gamut from dishes we loved to dishes we wouldn’t mind never encountering again.

And, really, it’s hard not to fall head over heels for a 1/2 pound cookie the size of your face! Today is the first day of the month so out with the old Coffee Toffee Cookie and in with a NEW cookie of the month (and MORE)!
