We’ve already made our way to a bunch of the parks and resorts to eat all kinds of holiday treats, we’ve checked out lots of Christmas trees and decorations, and we’ve taken a look at all of the holiday merchandise. But the holiday fun isn’t over quite yet! Today we visited Animal Kingdom to try a returning holiday snack that’ll only be here for a VERY limited time.

Animal Kingdom Christmas Tree
After spotting a terrifying pin on a foggy day in Animal Kingdom last week, we weren’t sure what to expect this week. But we did find new Minnie Ears that don’t cost $1,000, so we consider that a win! Check out what else we found.
Although some things at Disney World that once were free aren’t free anymore, you can still score a few freebies here and there around the resort.

For example, you can still get free water at some food locations, free transportation around the resort, and free Wi-Fi. And now, for a limited time, you can also get something else free at Disney World — just in time for the holidays!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is not just a theme park, but also a sort of zoo, sort of a nature preserve, and sort of a smorgasbord of some of the BEST food at Disney Wold. Not only that, but Animal Kingdom has some of the most unique attractions of all the Disney Parks, from Kali River Rapids to Na’vi River Journey (not to mention, one of our favorite shows, Festival of the Lion King).

Although there are plenty of opportunities to see animals throughout the park, one of the biggest things that bring guests to Animal Kingdom is the array of rides — dark rides, thrill rides, and everything in between. So which rides are the BEST of the best and which ones are…not so much?
If you’ve been to Disney World before, chances are you know that feeling: you just want to get from one side of Magic Kingdom to the other, but you’re met with a wall of crowds or a parade or cavalcade, slowing you down big time! Well, did you know that there are SECRET walkways that can help you avoid those crowds?

Okay, so maybe these walkways aren’t a complete secret, but there are often-overlooked walkways in the parks that can help you save some time while getting from point A to point B — or, at least it will make your walk more pleasant and crowd-free. With the 50th Anniversary Celebration bringing in plenty of visitors, it’s more important than ever to be aware of where the shortcuts and alternate routes are in the parks!
