Yep, this purrfect new cupcake has pawed its way into the Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts; and we’re smitten.
This week we had a chance to swing by two of our favorite Value Resorts — Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Art of Animation Resort. Both resorts received some menu updates in their food courts, but first let’s check in on the progress of that Skyliner Station!
The new Skyliner System will connect these two resorts, as well as Caribbean Beach Resort and the new Riviera Resort, to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
This weekend we’ll be celebrating 90 years with MICKEY MOUSE!
Suffice it to say, our favorite Mouse has had a HUGE effect on pop culture over the years, so what better place to mark the decades with Mickey than at Pop Century Resort, where we’re checking out What’s New!
Pop Century will be celebrating the Main Mouse with Mickey’s A-Mouse-ing Birthday Bash on Mickey’s birthday, November 18th! Special activities will include Character Greetings, Place the Party Hat on the Mouse, and a Hot Diggity Dance Party. [Read more…]

Look who we found! Mickey Mouse is the center of attention right now, even more so than usual, for his 90th birthday year. And everything seems to be taking the form of the main mouse these days!
Over at Pop Century’s Everything Pop, we spotted him (and his bae, Minnie) as a whoopie pie!
The chocolate Mickey whoopie pie has two chocolate cakes shaped like Mickey and dusted with sparkly edible glitter. Inside you’ll find sprinkle-decorated frosting!
This week we were in search of seasonal treats and menu updates in the Art of Animation, Pop Century, All Star Music, All Star Sports, and All Star Movies resorts. Time to take a look at some spooky and seasonal updates and eats!
We were so excited to find some of these fall-themed baked goods that we already wrote a post dedicated to them! They look super fun, but they actually taste pretty good, too!
A Walt Disney World employee was killed in an accident at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. According to reports, 33-year-old Juan Alberto Ojeda was unresponsive at the hotel property and declared dead after 9 a.m.
In a statement, Walt Disney World Resort president George A. Kalogridis said, “All of us at Walt Disney World Resort are deeply saddened today by the loss of one of our Cast Members. Our thoughts and concerns are with his family, friends, and fellow co-workers.”
We’re back with What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this week, and it includes several menu changes, tons of cool merchandise, and a peek at current Toy Story Land and Skyliner construction (read more about the Disney World Skyliner here!)! Then, we’re skipping over to Art of Animation and Pop Century for a quick look at What’s New at the resorts! So put on your fancy pants, and let’s get our glamour on!

You know it! You love it! You have to have it! It’s Dole Whip (affectionately called Pineapple Soft Serve a lot of the time), and it’s been a staple of Walt Disney World for years. Of course you know where you can find it in Adventureland at Aloha Isle (Disney World) and the Tiki Juice Bar (Disneyland) in the shadows of the Tiki Room (you can even bring your sweet treat inside to eat during the show!).
