A brand NEW restaurant is coming to Disney World in 2023, and we’ve got a big update on it right here!
Disney’s BoardWalk has been undergoing a bunch of changes and more are set to take place soon. BoardWalk Deli replaced BoardWalk Bakery, a new coffee shop is now open, the lounge got an updated look, the lobby and rooms are supposed to get refreshed too, and (perhaps most importantly for those who love sweets) the NEW Cake Bake Shop is set to open on the BoardWalk in 2023. We’ve been keeping an eye on the construction progress at that particular spot and now we’ve got an update!
If you’ve got a Disney World trip coming up in the next few months, it’s time to start planning your dining!
Whether you’re inside that 60-day dining reservation window or you’ve got a ways to go, it’s not too early to start thinking about where you’d like to eat. There are several relatively new restaurants in Disney World that you might want to check out, or you could go with an old favorite. But if you’re heading to one classic Disney spot in particular, you’ll want to know about a big schedule change!
There are SO many new things coming to Disney World that it’s difficult to keep track of everything!
We’ve got TWO new attractions coming to the parks (TRON Lightcycle Run and Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana). We’ve got several new restaurants on the way, too, including Roundup Rodeo BBQ, as well as The Cake Bake Shop. Speaking of The Cake Bake Shop, we’ve got a BIG update to share with you!
Coming to Disney World is a NEW restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Roundup Rodeo BBQ will be the newest addition to Toy Story Land, featuring a “barbecue-forward” concept, where guests will be surrounded by Andy’s play sets. We don’t know a whole lot about this new restaurant yet but Disney recently gave us a bit of a sneak preview and here’s what we noticed!
If you’re looking for a delicious sit down meal, World Showcase at EPCOT is chock full of options!
It has fancy spots like Takumi-Tei, Monsieur Paul, or Le Cellier, as well as casual and tried-and-true faves like Chefs de France or Via Napoli. But what about the Mexico Pavilion? We recently stopped by La Hacienda de San Angel to review the menu and share our thoughts!
Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and that can only mean one thing.
We’ve got turkey on the brain — and apparently so does Disney World! Plenty of Turkey Day treats have popped up throughout the parks and resorts, and quite a few restaurants are gearing up to serve guests Thanksgiving meals. If you’re looking for those delicious, Thanksgiving flavors on your next trip to Disney Springs — look no further than The Polite Pig!
It’s nearly IMPOSSIBLE to keep up with all the restaurant changes in Disney World.
Dining locations have reopened in phases, and there are still some that have yet to open. We’ve also noticed the return of character meals (with hugs!) and buffets being brought back to restaurants that were temporarily made into family-style establishments. Now, a buffet is back at a popular character meal, and we stopped by to check it out!
We’re gearing up for a lot of changes in Disney World food!
The buffet is returning to Tusker House, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is reopening, and we’ve got the holiday season kicking off soon with what’s sure to be dozens of special treats around the parks and resorts. And now, a Disney Springs restaurant has added two new items to its menu!
Disney fans rejoiced as the theme parks began their phased reopenings, which many assumed would lead to “normal” operations within the following months.
With Disney World beginning their phased reopening back in July of 2020 — it’s been over two years of phasing back into full operations, but some things are still missing, like a handful of table service restaurants in EPCOT. But now, Disney just announced the reopening date for one EPCOT dining spot, and it’s SOON!
