March was a BIG month of news for Disney World and lots of news can sometimes make for surprises!
From dining changes to health measure updates and more, let’s take a look at the four most unexpected things that happened in Disney World in March!
Spring has sprung!!!
We’re seeing spring a LOT at Disney World, in the crowds, at the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, in the merchandise, and more. We’re even starting to see some fun spring snacks, including Easter goodies. In the meantime, we’ve also seen a few changes at Disney World restaurants, so let’s get to the updates!
Have you ever been surprised by Disney World? We sure have.
This week we learned about the return of a favorite transportation method, we saw a return to pre-pandemic life, and we even witnessed a derailment (yes!). Check it all out here (and more!).
Sometimes, for one reason or another, Disney needs to put a project on hold.
Not too long ago, Disney shared that two anticipated Disney attractions, the Mary Poppins attraction in EPCOT and the Quinjet attraction in Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus, were put “on hold.” This was the first update we had heard about these attractions in a WHILE, but what does it really mean when a new Disney project is on hold?!Â
Change — love it or hate it, Disney World is FULL of change these days, and more change is on the way.
There have already been changes when it comes to mask rules and select hotel check-outs. And the future will feature ride changes, hotel changes, and more. This week has been one full of changes — either announcements of changes that have already been made or ones that will soon take place. What changes should you be prepared for? Read on!
Welcome back to the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow! (That’s what EPCOT stands for, in case you didn’t know 😉.)
We’re bringing you all the latest updates from EPCOT, including brand new menu items at a popular restaurant and an update on the construction progress at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. There’s so much to see and do at this futuristic-meets-familiar Disney park, so let’s dive in!
Did you know that you can eat in SPACE in Disney World? (And no, we’re not talking about the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser hotel). We’re referring to Space 220 in EPCOT, which is located in the World Discovery section of this park! At this restaurant, you’ll board an elevator and head “220 miles above the Earth” to eat your meal in space.
We’ve already eaten just about everything on the menu here for lunch, dinner, and the lounge, but now Disney has added some brand NEW items! Are the latest eats enough to tempt you to make a reservation? Spoiler alert: there’s one dish in particular that we think will be a BIG hit with many guests. Check out our full review of the new items here! [Read more…]
Of all the Disney World parks, EPCOT is basically synonymous with destination dining! But let’s be real: some restaurants in this food-filled park are more destination-worthy than others — as evidenced by the Yelp reviews.
While many EPCOT restaurants have their diehard fans, certain Table Service locations are especially adored, and Yelp is here to remind us why!Â
Space 220 was a mysterious EPCOT restaurant that put us through YEARS of uncertainty. Okay, that might be a bit dramatic. 😉 But still! It was a project that was delayed over and over until finally opening in September 2021.
It’s only been a few months since this spot opened but it looks like we’re already seeing some pretty substantial updates to the Space 220 menu! There are some additions, removals, and changes. Have any of your favorites left? Would any of the new items encourage you to visit this spot or even give it a second visit? Let’s check it out here!
When dining at Disney World, there seems to be an endless amount of choices, from where you’re going to eat to what you’re going to order once you’ve selected your restaurant.
If you feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of choices to make, one way to make your dining experiences a bit more “streamlined” is by ordering off of a prix fixe menu. Today, we’re going to chat about what exactly these menus are, and why Disney World seems to be more obsessed with them these days!
