Disney is creating a Monsters, Inc. land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We’ve learned more about this land since it was first announced, and we even got to see a model of a new attraction in that land, but now, we have an idea of when it will open!
Calling all MONSTERS, INC. fans! We just got some news we think you will be very excited about. The all-new Monstropolis Land coming to Hollywood Studios is well underway.

Okay, don’t panic — but Disney has finally given us the things we’ve always wanted? A ride based on the doors scene in Monsters, Inc.? Yep, it’s really happening. An Encanto attraction? YES, it’s going to be part of the new Pueblo Esperanza land in Animal Kingdom.
Villains Land is coming to Magic Kingdom!
But one of the things Disney fans have been most vocal about throughout Disney World’s history is that we want more villains! In fact, we’ve been begging for some Villains-centric areas and rides — AND IT’S REALLY HAPPENING! A Villains Land is coming to Magic Kingdom..oh, and the name of that land is actually VILLAINS LAND. We’ve got even more news about this expansion: we now know more about one of the rides coming to that new land!
Hollywood Studios is undergoing a MAJOR change right now with the addition of Monstropolis—the new Monsters, Inc.-themed land that replaced Muppet Courtyard.

Disney’s newest ship, the Disney Adventure, just set sail earlier this year (and you can check out our full review and thoughts here). Not only that, but Disney recently announced the Disney Believe, which will set sail in 2027. AND, three NEW ships are being built to set sail between 2029 and 2031.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting a brand-new land soon. Monsters, Inc. land will feature two attractions: a first-of-its-kind suspended roller coaster that will take you through the iconic Monsters, Inc. Laugh Factory and recreate the doors chase scene in the first Monsters, Inc. movie, and an unknown theater show.

Ever since Monstropolis was announced back in 2024, Disney fans everywhere have been asking one thing: What will move into the former home of Muppet*Vision 3D? If you’re thinking the same question, then today is your lucky day. Disney just announced what’s coming to the Glob Theater!
There’s a NEW cruise ship joining the Disney Cruise Line fleet! The Disney Believe was revealed as the ninth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet back in March 2026, and we can’t wait to check it out! This will be the fourth ship in the Wish Class, and it will set sail for the first time in late 2027. We’ve been eagerly anticipating more updates about this new ship, and now we’ve got some big news!

Setting sail in late 2027, the Disney Believe will feature one-of-a-kind venue concepts and entertainment experiences. The experiences will be shaped by beloved Disney stories such as Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana, and The Little Mermaid. We got exciting news about the character that will be featured on the ship’s bow, the characters that will be on the stern, and which character will be the Grand Hall’s icon.
Can you feel the love tonight? There’s a NEW Disney attraction coming soon. It looks so stunning, and we are counting down the days till we can ride it!
