Remember that time Disney teased that an entire LAND could be gutted and rethemed in Animal Kingdom? Or when they lured us in with the potential of a true Casa Madrigal from Encanto (tears may or may not have been shed)? Wait…you don’t know what we’re talking about? Well buckle up, we’ve got some news for you!
Back at the D23 Expo in 2022, Disney shared all kinds of updates, but for those looking toward the future of the parks these “Blue Sky” ideas were some of the more exciting ones. We’ve already taken a look at just what a “Blue Sky” idea is and how likely it is that some of these things will actually happen. But today we’re taking a closer look at those teased expansions and identifying some potential rides that could be made. Wonder what the future of the Disney parks might look like? THIS is the post for you.
A new Joffrey’s drink? Count us in!
When new seasons, holidays, or events roll around, Joffrey’s locations around Disney World will commonly release new drinks to celebrate the occasion. Since spring has sprung in Disney World, there’s a new drink over in Animal Kingdom that we had to try!
When is the BEST time to go to Disney World?!
Well, that answer totally depends on YOU. Do you want to avoid crowds at all costs? Don’t visit during summer or spring break. Do you want to be in the crowds on the opening day of TRON Lightcycle / Run? Prepare for busy parks. If you are someone who is seeking lower crowds and wait times on a Disney World trip, right now might be the best time to visit Disney World!
Okay, so you’re going to Disney World next week, and in your excitement, you’re trying to make sure you’ve taken care of ALL the planning details.
You’ve made your advance dining reservations. You’ve checked the weather in Florida and made your packing list (and if you haven’t done the latter, we can help with that). You’ve made your park pass reservations. You’ve checked park hours. Wait, have you done those last two things? If not, don’t worry — we’ll let you know what park hours are and what park pass availability looks like next week.
February might’ve been a short month, but a LOT happened when it comes to Disney World food.
First, we ate a TON of Valentine’s Day treats. We also said goodbye to the EPCOT Festival of the Arts. Between all the news about Reedy Creek and changes made to park pass reservations AND Genie+, we also had a lot of Disney World restaurant menu updates.
Food in Disney World can be expensive, so you don’t want to waste money buying BAD snacks and meals! Don’t worry — we’re here to help you sort out which eats you should get and which you should SKIP.
We ate a lot of food in Disney World in February, from new eats to classic fan favorites. We visited several table service restaurants, grabbed seasonal snacks, and even discovered a few brand-new items. So which were WINNERS and which should you avoid? Let’s dive in. [Read more…]
Disney has really been spoiling us with new merchandise lately! With the 100th Anniversary celebrations underway, there are tons of new items coming out regularly.
This hasn’t stopped Disney from their normal schedule of releases, like new ear designs. We just spotted a never-before-seen pair in Animal Kingdom that will make you feel like the king of all you survey!
If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, there are a lot of things to stay on top of.
From the addition of new restaurants and rides to hotel construction and ride closures — things are constantly changing in the parks. Ride closures in particular can have a big impact on your trip — that’s why it’s important to pay attention to Disney’s refurbishment schedule. But sometimes even that doesn’t go to plan. Just this month the refurbishment of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith was delayed, and today we have news of a ride that opened AHEAD of schedule!
Okay, so we are busy gearing up for the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, which starts NEXT WEEK!
We’ve got the full list of food booths, ALL the menus, and details about this year’s Garden Graze. But while we’re prepping for the next big festival, we’re also keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus and tracking changes. So let’s see what’s been updated this week at Disney World restaurants.
