There are two things that fall pretty high on our list of favorite things to do.
One: travel. Two: save money. Sounds a bit contradictory, huh? Well, lucky for you, we’ve just found a way that we all can do BOTH. We know many of you are currently in the throes of planning your fall and winter vacations, and since this time of year is especially hectic and a bit expensive because of the holidays, we think you could really benefit from this great deal.
If you’re staying at Disney World for more than 2-3 days, it can be better for your bank account (and for your stomach) to get a few groceries for your hotel room.
After all, a Gaston’s Cinnamon Roll for breakfast each day starts to hurt the tummy a bit after the second time. It can be a better choice to have some cereal or instant oats back in the room. A lot of folks fly to Disney World and then Uber to and from a grocery store to grab a few necessities. This can be pretty inconvenient, as you could be spending that time relaxing and having fun! There are plenty of reasons why you SHOULDN’T Uber to a grocery store near Disney World, and we’re here to share those reasons with you.
There’s a NEW ride coming to Magic Kingdom, and we’re watching the construction progress like a HAWK. (Insert gesture of two fingers pointing at our eyes then turning to point at the ride here. 😉)
When Splash Mountain closed to become Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, we expected there would be some swift changes in the scenery, but quite a bit has been altered since the construction started earlier this year! We’ve been able to keep tabs on the queue area to see how it’s progressing, and now we’ve got an update to share.
It’s heartbreaking when our favorite snacks leave Disney World, but we should know by now that legends never truly die.Â
Several years ago, AJ fell in LOVE with her birthday snack: a pile of piping hot fries at Flame Tree Barbecue in Disney’s Animal Kingdom — loaded with pulled pork, plastic cheese, and barbecue sauce. It was love at first bite and quickly became a favorite not only for AJ but for the team members here at DFB as well. (They’re delicious, y’all. We can all attest.) Our hearts were SHATTERED when these deliciously saucy and cheesy fries left the menu. If you’re like us and mourned the loss of this snack for years, it’s time to dry up those tears, pal. They’re back.
It’s no secret that millions of people visit Disney World each year.
Disney World is one of the top visited locations around the world. People come from all countries to experience the magic Disney has to offer in Florida. With all those people around, it’s no wonder you can show up healthy as ever and leave feeling like you’ve just been run over by a train.Â
We always joke that we basically live at Disney World because we’re there so often.
However, some folks ACTUALLY call Disney World home. Like, they LIVE THERE. Full time. Not just the “Welcome Home,” Disney Vacation Club kind of live there. Golden Oak at Disney World is an upscale residential community that’s located on Disney property and is filled with luxurious homes that are built by Golden Oak Realty and Disney Signature Experiences. If you’re dreaming of permanently living at Disney World, we’ve got some news for ya.
