We’ve got big news for Disney World water park fans!
Blizzard Beach
A huge hotel perk is in store for water parks in 2025, and we’ve even spotted some signs that Disney is hard at work getting things ready for the winter season. Yep, at least one Disney World water park stays open year-round, and in fact, Blizzard Beach is entirely winter-themed. This water park has been closed since March, but now we officially know when it will reopen!

Yes, we’ve seen a lot of Disney fans express this type of sentiment.
EPCOT
There’s no denying that Disney fans are loyal, arguably to a fault at times. However, even the most committed have breaking points. We recently asked our readers on Facebook what Disney would have to do to get them to “NEVER go back to Disney World ever again!” and certainly got some interesting… and sometimes heated responses!
Disney Springs is essentially Disney World’s outdoor mall, with almost 100 stores and gift shops, more than 60 restaurants and snack stands, and over 20 entertainment offerings.

But, we’ve been seeing quite a few closures happening around Disney Springs over the past year with stores like the Art of Shaving, the Sosa Family Cigars shop over by Salt & Straw; then, more recently, the UGG store closed its doors as well. And recently, another store joined that list.
Okay, so a LOT is going on in Magic Kingdom now, and we get it — our heads are spinning, too, trying to keep up with all of it.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened. Country Bear Jamboree reopened with a new show. A WHOLE new Cars land is coming that will replace Tom Saywer Island and Rivers of America (and we’re still not sure HOW to feel about that). PLUS a Villains land is on the way. So in all that chaos, you might have missed an important announcement about a classic ride in Magic Kingdom. So we’re filling you in: Jungle Cruise will temporarily close as of tomorrow.

The Pretzel Bread Pudding from Germany, the School Bread from Norway (that one’s a little controversial if you don’t like coconut), and The Croque Glaces from France — the list seriously goes on and on. We’re suckers for all the food EPCOT has to offer, but we just recently found out that there’s a SECRET menu item at one of our favorite spots that everyone, especially those with allergies, NEED to know about!
Star Wars fans may be some of the most dedicated fans of all time.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Since 1977, fans of the Star Wars franchise have spent millions of dollars on movies, streaming subscriptions to watch new Star Wars TV shows, Star Wars Celebration, and visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in both Disney World and Disneyland. However, we just recently attended a VERY special Star Wars event that you might not even know about, and it’s all about lighting up the night with lightsabers.
We are DAYS away from the return of the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, and we are getting excited!
Food and Wine 2023
All the booths and menus for the 2024 Food and Wine Festival were just recently released, and we have been making our game plans for when we visit the festival on August 29th. This year, there are five new booths and so many new menu items! And, of course, fan-favorite booths and items will also make their return this year. If you are like us, though, you may be looking for a place to cool off in EPCOT, and this newly re-opened space is the perfect place to do so!
We still are not over all the new and exciting announcements from D23!
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event
In case you missed it, D23, The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, took place earlier this month in Anaheim, California, and Disney gave us a glimpse at a bunch of new projects. During the Park Panel, we found out about additions coming to Disney Cruise Line, the international parks, Disneyland, and, of course, Disney World. Each of Disney World’s four parks is slated to get new additions. While it has been a long time coming, it was officially announced that DinoLand U.S.A. will transform into a Tropical Americas Land by 2027. There were three rides announced for this overhaul, but people seem only to be talking about two of the attractions.

Spooky season is in full swing at Disney World as we enter September. Schools have started in many parts of the country, and fall is just around the corner. Now is one of the times that people love going to Disney World. The temperatures begin to cool off, the fall and Halloween decorations are the favorites for many people, and since school has started the crowds aren’t always as busy as in the middle of the summer. However, there are a few mistakes that we worry people may make if they’re headed to the parks in September. So here are a few reminders to help you plan your next trip!
