There are lots of Disney secrets that many guests may have no idea about.
Disney Cast Members sometimes use special codes to communicate with each other, we’ve spotted many hidden details in Disney art, and did you know about the Subway restaurant UNDERNEATH Magic Kingdom? We stopped by Disney’s Art of Animation Resort recently and found a hidden secret we’re betting you don’t know!
Are you planning a trip to Disney World? Are you having problems deciding on where to stay?
Well, the first thing you need to think about is your budget, right? But you also need to think about what Disney World hotel might offer you the best value, or bang for your buck. So we’re going to tell you about some hotels that might not be on your list, but should be! We’re also going to tell you why.
It’s been a busy spring at Disney World.
TRON Lightcycle / Run has opened in Magic Kingdom. Roundup Rodeo BBQ has opened in Hollywood Studios. There’s all kinds of construction still going on over at EPCOT. Disney World hotels are also staying busy right now — so let’s go on a trip around the World’s hotels to see what’s new.
Lean in close friends, we have a sad (and hunger-inducing) Disney story to tell.
In the Most Magical Place on Earth (a.k.a. Disney World), you’ll find the oh-so-colorful Art of Animation Resort and its equally as colorful Landscape of Flavors food court. The food court is beautifully decorated with callbacks to some of Disney’s most popular films (really, take a second to check out those designs), but its food menu has changed dramatically over the years. Did you know that you could once get tandoori chicken thighs here with NAAN bread?! It’s true, folks. So grab a tissue (and a snack) and join us for this sad tale.
There’s no doubt that Disney vacations are expensive, and no one wants buyer’s remorse when it comes to what can usually be the most EXPENSIVE part of your Disney trip.
We’re approaching this chaos-agent of a decision with as much logic as possible, so we’re breaking it down into five categories, which we’ll get into below. Today we’re putting two value Skyliner resorts head to head — Art of Animation vs Pop Century Resort!
Welcome back to Disney World’s resorts — we have lots of news to share!
There are a wide variety of hotels at Disney World, from kid-friendly Value Resorts to more luxurious Deluxe Resorts. Each has its own amenities, activities, and news to share, so we’re compiling all of the latest here for you to check out!
Just how far will your taste buds go with this latest Disney snack?
This latest snack we picked up at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort was almost too pretty to eat! Check it out with us! [Read more…]
Resort hopping is one of our favorite things to do at Disney, and splurging at the resort shops, eating at the themed restaurants, and simply looking at all the resort decor makes a good day even better!
Sometimes, some really great merchandise and snack options are hiding in the resort shops rather than in the parks. We went to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and then later took the Skyliner to some other resorts on property, and we found some great items including several exclusive things for DVC members! Plus, we even got to see some construction!
Some guests feel like staying at a Disney resort is the better choice when on vacation at Disney World. It is true there is a lot that you receive when staying on-property that you can’t get anywhere else.
But we found that besides the price difference, there aren’t a lot of cons that people discuss when comparing Disney resorts to other, non-Disney hotels in Orlando. It’s important to consider EVERY aspect, especially when your hard-earned cash is on the line!
