We’re also looking forward to this year’s EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, with all its great food, entertainment, and holiday cheer. NEWS: Our Favorite Trick to Skip the Lines in EPCOT Has SOLD OUT

EPCOT is a BUSY park — not only is it home to some of our favorite restaurants AND festivals when it’s the right time of year, but it’s also home to some of the most popular attractions in Disney World.

This means that the park itself can be crowded, and lines for certain attractions can be pretty intense sometimes. One of our favorite ways to skip all the lines was to purchase a ticket for EPCOT’s After Hours event, which allows a smaller group of guests into the park after it closes (for a separate fee). Well, we have an important update to share about this handy skip-the-line trick.

Heads Up! These Disney World Restaurants Changed Their Menus This Week

Well, it certainly has been another exciting week in Disney World, hasn’t it?

We managed to get a sneak peek at the new Country Bear Jamboree show and we’re still singing some of those songs in our heads. We also had a chance to try a GLITTERY new coffee drink in Disney Springs. Disney also teased us with a familiar treat that was a LIE (okay, we’re over it, but still…). We’re also celebrating 15 years of DFB, which is a HUGE deal. BUT we’re still keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus and checking them for updates, and we’ve got even more changes this week.

This week two Disney World attractions are reopening — the DVC lounge in the Imagination Pavilion in EPCOT on July 13th AND the Country Bear Musical Jamboree in Magic Kingdom! We’ve got a HUGE update on the 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival!

It’s festival time!

Before we know it, it’ll be time to start gearing up for Food & Wine. We can’t wait! This summertime festival is the BIGGEST one of the year, bringing tons of food booths, a concert series, and all kinds of themed entertainment to the park. The itty bitty train village in the Germany Pavilion is adorable and a fun sight to see when you’re in the park, but it’s also absolutely rife with crime and villainy. We’ve caught its residents in their misdeeds many times over the past few months — from murder to sabotage to underground crime rings. And we’re heading back this week to see what’s happening again!

As Disney fans, we go to Disney World as often as we can. While we have reporters in the park every single day of the year to bring you all the up-to-date information, many of us on the DFB team don’t live in Florida. But we still head to the parks multiple times a year.

Over the years, we’ve tried hundreds, probably thousands of treats in the parks and resorts, and we’ve definitely got some favorites that we think you NEED to try. The Awkward Reason I Will Never Ride Journey Into Imagination With Figment in Disney World Again

We love Figment and are enjoying all the new representation he is getting in the parks!

Hey Figment!

Besides Journey Into Imagination with Figment (which needs a serious update), we love that Disney recently added a Figment meet-and-greet in the Imagination Pavailion’s ImageWorks! Figment now even has his section at the newly re-opened and re-imagined Ever After store in Disney Springs. Although Figment is quite a lovable fellow, we don’t like to ride his attraction for this awkward reason.
