Hello from sunny Florida and Disney World!

Mango and Strawberry Sorbet Cone
We’ve been busy eating some fun summer treats including some new drinks, rainbow cupcakes, and Loki treats. But we’ve also been watching restaurant menus for changes and updates and there were quite a few this week, including a TON of price increases on some of our favorite drinks and snacks.
Have you been keeping up with our Roulé aux Fromage saga? Well, let’s catch you up!
A few days ago we found that one of our favorite bacon and cheese roll (aka the Roulé aux Fromage) had returned to Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in the France Pavilion at EPCOT. And, while we were excited to reunite with the cheesy, bacon-y goodness, there was one thing lacking — the bacon. But, the Cast Members in the France Pavilion were watching and they RESPONDED with MORE bacon! So, we had to go over and check it out!
EPCOT is a foodie’s dream!

Les Halles
While there is incredible food all over Disney World, EPCOT’s World Showcase is home to lots of cultures and delicious snacks. There’s a reason so many people eat and drink around the world! And today, we tried an old favorite of ours that returned to the France pavilion…but it’s pretty different than before!
While many Disney Parks around the world have reopened (or are on their way to reopening) since initial closures began last year due to the ongoing health crisis, some still remain closed.
Disneyland Paris has gone through a few different phases, having reopened in July 2020, but then closed again shortly after in October. Disney initially planned for the park to reopen on April 2nd, but that has since been postponed and the area will now be used for a different purpose.

As the COVID-19 vaccine rollout continues around the world, people are beginning to look ahead.
Recently, the California government created a plan to reopen the state, as small businesses are beginning to recover from the effects of the pandemic. The CDC has stated that fully vaccinated Americans can safely travel once again. And now, France has provided an update on its own travel restrictions.
You know us — we love our Disney World snacks, and we LOVE our Disney World cookies! That is probably why we found ourselves standing in 3+ hour long lines to get the latest cookie flavor at Gideon’s Bakehouse (don’t judge us!).

Disneyland Paris has seen its share of challenges since last year. The parks in Paris closed in March 2020, reopened in July, and then closed again in October. Currently, Disneyland Paris remains closed.

But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot going on at the park right now while it’s closed. In December, Disneyland Paris announced that Sleeping Beauty Castle would undergo its first major refurbishment since the park opened in 1992.
Hello, DFB friends! March was a very busy month for Disney World restaurants!

Chefs de France
And although we’re busy just trying to eat our way through all of Disney’s amazing Easter snacks, we’ve also been keeping an eye on what Disney World restaurants are doing, and tracking changes on menus, prices, and more! And we saw a LOT of updates in March, so let’s get started!
Disneyland Paris has been closed in France for quite some time now.
The park closed for a second time last year in October due to the situation with the pandemic, and was most recently set to reopen on April 2nd. That reopening, however, has been postponed and a new reopening date has not yet been set. Now, we’ve gotten an update on what’s going on in France in general related to the pandemic and certain restrictions.
