This time we’re back at the Funnel Cake Stand in the American Adventure pavilion for a new treat that may or may not have us questioning our taste buds.

The 2023 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is finally upon us and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with delicious items, fun topiaries to check out, merchandise to grab (we can’t resist merch), and even concerts to watch! But don’t let it overwhelm you, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to the Funnel Cake Stand to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a stop by? We’re about to find out together!
If one of your favorite things to do in the big city is enjoy a classic frankfurter from a hotdog stand, you’ll love Award Wieners in Disneyland!
Award Wieners
This spot serves up gourmet hot dogs and sausages along with other American classics, including hot and fresh funnel cakes. You’ll often find specialty dogs on the menu, and seasonal offerings depending on what time of year you visit. We just so happened to notice a few new items on the menu, so of course we had to check them out!
Okay, are we in EPCOT or at a county fair? Even just the smell of funnel cake makes us think of Ferris wheels and midway games!
Classic American staple!
With all of the wild dishes at EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, you might be hankering for some familiar foods. This festival is known for its adventurous takes on classic dishes (just take a look at this deconstructed key lime pie!), so you might be interested to see how they handled an American staple like funnel cake.

Happy 40th birthday, EPCOT! Time to make a wish and blow out the candles! What did you wish for? A bunch of 40th Celebration treats? Well, what a coinkidink!
Flower and Garden
Nothing says celebration quite like cake!! EPCOT has a doozy of a celebration, and Disney is not holding back with new snacks like the Figment Sponge Cake. Lots of the treats are a pure kaleidoscope of colors, and the Celebration Funnel at Funnel Cake Stand is a pure cacophony of color and sugar (like every celebration should be!).
It’s time to celebrate Star Wars Day in the Disney parks! There’s a ton of new food and fun experiences like new PhotoPass opportunities coming to Disney World in celebration of this galactic holiday, and we’ve been having a great time checking everything out (but of course, we’ve had the most fun trying the food!).

There are almost 20 food booths as well as fun entertainment and new merchandise at the festival this year. We’ve already tried some delicious items, like the Bomboloni at the Primavera Kitchen and pretty much everything at Jardin de Fiestas. But now it’s time for a sweet treat — so, come along with us as we check out this year’s funnel cake at the festival!
We’ve officially made it halfway around EPCOT’s World Showcase, which can only mean one thing…Funnel Cakes!
