Let’s be honest: if you are paying Disney World prices, you want every possible second of park time squeezed out of that vacation like the last drop of cold brew on a rope-drop morning.
And thankfully, some hotels really do help with that.
When you have dozens of hotels in Disney World, at least one of them is likely getting a refurbishment at a time!
Over at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, you’ll find some of the coolest hotel rooms that Disney World has to offer — Treehouse Villas! These villas are massive and great for a large party, but they’re a bit outdated. Thankfully, they’re now getting refurbished.
We’ve spent a lot of nights in a lot of Disney World hotel rooms, and we’re here to tell you that not all beds are created equal.
When you’re dropping serious cash on a Disney World trip, the quality of your sleep matters more than you might think. A new permit filed by Walt Disney World Resort hints that something NEW could be coming to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Construction at the Contemporary Resort has been ongoing since September 2024, and we recently spotted a new permit that was filed.
The refurbishment at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is expected to continue through late 2027, though construction has already been extended several times. Initially, the refurbishment was expected to be done in summer 2025, then July 2026, and now it has been extended through late 2027.
There’s one Disney World hotel that is a hot commodity right now!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been through a major transition phase these past few years. With new dining, some updated rooms, and changes to the lobby, there’s a lot to experience here. So, should you join the trend and book a stay here? Let’s dive into some of the big updates.
Early Entry — the 30-minute period each morning when guests of Disney resorts and other select hotels can access each of the theme parks prior to the general public — has been one of Disney World’s most popular perks for years, and 2026 is bringing some big changes!
From character appearances to reopening rides, crowd patterns during Early Entry are going to change several times this year, which may impact how YOU plan your morning at Walt Disney World.
2026 is shaping up to be a massive summer at the Walt Disney World Resort, and some GAME-CHANGING discounts are making it even easier to be there.
From Piston Peak and Villains Land to the Monsters, Inc.-inspired Monstropolis and Tropical Americas, it’s a time of change at Walt Disney World. However, while those updates are years away, there’s a lot to experience at the resort right now, and some comparatively cheaper than usual ways to do it!
For many Disney fans, the Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts are the apex of Walt Disney World hotels. The EPCOT Resort area hotels are iconic, classy, convenient, and they boast some serious perks (Stormalong Bay, Disney World’s BEST pool anyone?).
But what if I told you there’s a hidden gem in the EPCOT area that offers many of the same benefits (and maybe even some better ones) for hundreds less per night? It might just be the best-kept secret in the EPCOT resort area, and once this secret’s out, you might not want to stay at Yacht and Beach Club again.
Update: As of 10:51 AM on January 12th, the building was all clear, and guests were allowed to reenter.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is currently being evacuated due to a fire alarm.
A fire truck has arrived on the scene, and guests are currently being held outside the building. Our reporter was at the hotel to check on the boat dock closure when the evacuation began.
I visit Disney World every week for my job, and yet, I’m often still humbled by the difficulty of navigating the property.
Traveling between parks, hotels, and Disney Springs often takes wayyy longer than you think it will, and it’s challenging to budget the right amount of time, energy, and resources for those travels.
