We know, we know… Back-to-School time is fast approaching (and in some spots, it’s already arrived!). But the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer aren’t quite over just yet, so we’ve still got some summer celebrating to do!
And, hey, the coming of Fall isn’t so bad, anyway. Not when we’ve got our very favorite autumnal event coming to the first stop on our tour in a matter of weeks. That’s why we’re kicking things off at Epcot to see What’s New!
The 2016 Epcot Food & Wine Festival will be here before we know it! Sure signs of its return are starting to appear around the park…
… as in, like, literal signs 😉 . Even the Miniature Train display in the Germany Pavilion has received its annual decorations!
Have you checked out the full list of Booth Menus to start strategizing your noshing plans yet?! It’s never too soon… the Festival starts on September 14th! [Read more…]

Are you ready for another trip around the World? We’ve got lots of new eats, treats, and Gaston-themed Feasts coming at you for this round of What’s New (along with a peek at a lot — and I mean A LOT — of stuff to come!).
We’re kicking off our latest jaunt at the most Magical of All Kingdoms…
A recent visit to the Magic Kingdom revealed changes and additions — both big and small — to Counter Service spots all over the park.
But the one that might just take the cake (CUPcake, that is!) is the new Donald Duck Vanilla Cupcake at the Main Street Bakery! [Read more…]

It’s time for another Trip Around the World to check out all the latest eats and happenings… and maaaaaybe a couple of construction walls, while we’re at it ;). Because while April showers might bring May flowers, this month is also bringing LOTS of changes to the Disney World parks!
And nowhere else is that more true than…
It’s already been over six months since it was announced that MAJOR changes are on the way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios with the construction of Toy Story and Star Wars Lands.
Of course, it will be quite some time before those Lands are realized, but early April brought some of the first physical signs of change as the Streets of America section of the park (including eateries such as Studio Catering Co., High Octane Refreshments, Herbie’s Drive-In and the Pretzel Garden) was officially closed to make way for construction. Who’s up for some CHURROS?
We sure are! (Then again, when aren’t we?!) So our Magic Kingdom stop today is Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Frontierland!
Perhaps you were expecting a visit to the Frontierland Churro Cart or the Storybook Pretzel Cart? Fret not, you can still find them there, along with Mickey Pretzels and cold drinks to wash down your snack of choice. But when the menu at Pecos Bill’s underwent a complete change from burgers-and-fries to Mexican fare, Churros suddenly appeared as a dessert option here as well (along with some no-longer-available Sopaipillas).
The take is a bit different, though, at the Tall Tale Inn, so we’re here to have a peek… and a bite or two, of course 😉 .
Here we go!
Of course, Churros have been a long-time favorite of ours (and possibly yours, too). They’re a go-to snack for many guests in both Disney World and Disneyland. So it wasn’t a huge surprise to spot Churros on the updated Pecos Bill menu. [Read more…]
We hope you had a wonderful, magical, and Merry Christmas! As much as we love that holiday we’re really looking forward to ringing in the New Year later this week!
This year has been full of great new restaurants including Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, Morimoto Asia, and the recently-opened Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd., Skipper Canteen.
And we’re certain that 2016 is going to be full of some great food news as more new spots open at Disney Springs including STK Orlando, The Edison, and Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza!
We just know 2016 is going to be awesome and we hope you have a great time ringing in the New Year this week!
We have a lot to share, so let’s jump right in…

We had a chance to dine at Morimoto Asia, and the newest restaurant in Disney Springs did not disappoint!

Howdy hey there! After being closed for a few days, Pecos Bill Tale Tall Inn and Cafe is back up and running with a completely new menu!
I know this may be not-too-happy news for those old school Pecos Bill fans, but the new menu isn’t so bad. Let’s take a look at the changes! [Read more…]
