We just saw that prices are going up for private photo shoots, some Star Wars experiences, food, and more in Disney World. And now, prices are also going up for drinks around the parks.
In discussing park price increases, Disney CEO Bob Chapek once said, “If demand goes up, then we have the opportunity to do that.” Well, we regret to inform your budgets, but it seems that the time for price increases has arrived.
We’ve seen price increases implemented for Genie+ at Disneyland, surge pricing introduced for the standard Genie+ service in Disney World, price increases announced for Savi’s Workshop and Droid Depot, and cost increases revealed for more experiences. Earlier in 2022, we also saw hundreds of price increases hit Disney World restaurants, and now it looks like food price increases are happening again.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, Disney World ain’t cheap.
You have to buy your park tickets, book a hotel if the trip calls for it, not to mention plan for eating all those delicious Disney snacks and treats while you’re there. It adds up quickly — and when price increases hit the parks, it can make you rethink your Disney World budget.
