It’s the most magical time of the year at Disney World! Snoap is falling, Christmas trees are up, and lights are twinkling. There is something super special about Disney World during the holidays, but finding out your favorite attraction or experience is closed is anything but magical. There are quite a few closures happening in Disney World, and we don’t want you to be surprised.

NEWS: Opening Timeline Announced for NEW LAND in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

It is no fun to be excited about an attraction or experience, only to find out it is permanently closed or undergoing refurbishment. There are quite a few closures happening in Disney World — whether it be for maintenance or to make way for new lands like Pueblo Esperanza, Piston Peak National Park, and a Monsters, Inc. land.

Okay, so you might be aware that a lot is going on right now in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Recently, Muppets Courtyard closed to make way for a brand-new Monsters, Inc. land.

Animation Courtyard also recently closed to be reimagined as The Walt Disney Studios. Now, when we looked at the concept art for the updated area, we noticed that something was missing: the Hollywood Studios arch that stands in front of the area. Well, it’s official, the arch has officially been removed. It’s GONE, people.
