He’s finally here!
The Halloween season brings a LOT of festive fun to Disneyland. We love trying all the fall and Halloween snacks around the resort, and can’t stop ourselves from checking out the super cute merchandise Disney releases for the season. And now, this might be one of our new FAVORITE parts of fall — the Mickey Ghost Popcorn Bucket is FINALLY available!
Something stinkin’ adorable and SO MUCH FUN has arrived in the Japan Pavilion.

EPCOT’s Japan is filled with yummy cuisine and beautiful scenery, but above all else, it’s known for its incredible merchandise. The Mitsukoshi Department Store gift shop here is the only place you’ll find items themed to Pokémon or based on Nintendo games and characters, and it’s also a great spot to shop for some truly unique snacks. But now, one of the best souvenir options in the Japan Pavilion is actually located outside the gift shop.
You know, it’s a shame that it took THIS long to finally get a Moana-themed restaurant in a Disney Park.

So we were super excited when Hong Kong Disneyland announced that it was opening a Moana-themed restaurant called Wayfinders’ Table on September 12th (yes, that’s NOW). Well, ever since this restaurant was announced, we’ve been (impatiently) waiting for Disney to reveal the menu, and y’all, OUR TIME HAS COME. Yes, we finally have the full menu for Wayfinders’ Table!
Pixar fans, you may be booking a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland soon! As soon as you see the concept art for this new Disney show, you’ll understand why a trip is undoubtedly on your horizon.
Disney Friends Live at the Castle at Hong Kong Disneyland
Yes, there’s a new Moana restaurant and Villains are taking over Main Street later this month at Hong Kong Disneyland, but Disney just revealed NEW concept art for an upcoming Pixar theatrical experience that we think fans will love!

At Destination D23 in Disney World, Disney dropped some major news about updates coming to Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland. We’re talking ride overlays, attraction refreshes, and even some completely new technology making its way into a beloved classic. Sometimes things happen in Disney Parks that you can’t control. There may be emergencies from time to time, and those situations can cause evacuations and closures. We often see rides evacuated and closed, and we recently learned about an incident during the Paint The Night parade where smoke was coming from one of the parade floats. Now, a new evacuation is unfolding in Disneyland, and we have the details.

We heard of actors, musicians, athletes, political figures, and every major name in between visiting the “Happiest Place on Earth” since it opened 70 years ago. In just my seven years of covering the resort, I’ve seen dozens of celebrities post about their visit all over social media. Recently, Modern Family star and noted Disney parks fan Sarah Hyland once again added her name to the list. Spoiler alert: her ride photos do NOT disappoint.

Beak and Barrel
The Beak and Barrel opened to reservation-only crowds and peak excitement — seriously, I have been covering Disney Parks for decades and have rarely seen excitement levels this high for a new eatery — at the end of August. We’ve already dropped a full review of the restaurant’s pirate-themed food and drinks, but there was plenty more we learned during our visit.

Sure, you might have researched things like the height requirements on rides, especially if you have children. You’ve probably even checked ride safety guidelines (and be sure to listen to Cast Members when you board rides). One thing you may not be thinking of, though, is your cell phone. Now, using your cell phone on rides is a controversial topic, but there are some rides that have restricted the use of cell phones in both Disney World and Disneyland.
