Don’t Forget! An Animal Kingdom Attraction Is Permanently Closing in TWO WEEKS

Okay, so 2025 has been one of the BIGGEST years for change in Disney World in recent memory. Three out of four parks are getting brand new lands, with one park getting a new land AND an expansion to an existing land. Rides have been closed for updates.

Tree of Life in Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is one of those parks that’s already changed a lot this year, as DinoLand U.S.A. has started a phased closure to make way for a new land, Pueblo Esperanza. As construction on Puebla Esperanza continues, another part of DinoLand U.S.A. will be closing soon: The Boneyard.

90(!!!!) Menu Items Are Disappearing from Disney World Menus

So there are a ton of great seasonal foods in Disney World that are only available during certain events and holidays.

This was a treat

For example, we recently got a list of some new Halloween treats coming to Disney World (and we are so excited). We’ve also seen some limited-time Disney Princess treats released for World Princess Week. Plus, the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival always brings new food and drinks! However, one event is set to end soon, meaning that a total of 90 special restaurant menu items are going to disappear soon!

A major streaming service is about to end PERMANENTLY.

Streaming services have overtaken movie theaters and live television over the past decade when it comes to how we consume entertainment. However, while services like Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu charge users to access their wide range of media, some offerings like Amazon’s free streaming service, Freevee, have been game-changing. The app is about to end, but there will still be ways to watch its content FOR FREE.

Well, It Looks Like Nobody Cares That This Disney World Ride Is Closing Tomorrow

Okay, so a LOT is happening in Magic Kingdom right now. Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island have permanently closed as Disney begins construction on a Cars-themed expansion in Frontierland. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is getting a huge upgrade. A new villains land is set to go behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

A Tomorrowland ride is also set for a huge upgrade. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin closes tomorrow, August 4th, so we decided to visit the ride this morning to see what its last day is like…and let’s just say, it was kinda surprising.

We Regret to Inform You, Disney Pixar Fans, But This Parade Is Ending SOON

Disneyland is a flurry of activity now that the 70th Anniversary Celebration has kicked off in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.

The celebration brought some returning entertainment back to the parks, too, including the Paint the Night parade in Disneyland and the Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! parade in California Adventure. However, the Pixar parade will only stick around for a limited time because it will be closing SOON.

NEWS: This Disney Restaurant Was Set To Close…But NOT YET

Okay, so if you’ve been keeping up with everything happening in Downtown Disney in Disneyland, you’ll know that there have been some MAJOR changes made to the shopping and dining district, with more to come.

Earl of Sandwich Tavern

One of the big changes we’ve been anticipating is the arrival of a Porto’s Bakery location. However, that arrival was recently expected to close down the current location of Earl of Sandwich Tavern SOON, but it looks like that location, as well as the other temporary Earl of Sandwich location, will remain open a bit longer.

It’s Official! The Magic Kingdom Park Map Has CHANGED

Well, it’s officially the end of an era at Magic Kingdom. Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat are both now closed to park visitors.

It’s been a long journey, but it seems like Disney has been quick to update the My Disney Experience app and beyond — because new maps have popped up in the park and on the app overnight.

In Tomorrowland, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will be closing soon for a big update. In Frontierland, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is undergoing a MASSIVE upgrade. A Villains land is being built BEHIND Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Meanwhile, Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island, and the Liberty Square Riverboat are set to close forever as of tomorrow, July 7th, — and we’re here on the last day before this part of Magic Kingdom changes forever.

CONFIRMED: A FREE Streaming Service Is Shutting Down SOON

When it comes to streaming services, things are changing…and fast…

It doesn’t even seem like it was that long ago when Netflix was about the only streaming service on the market, but now there are TONS to choose from, including Disney’s own Disney+ and Hulu. Amazon’s Prime Video also offers streaming (although, honestly, who has Prime just for streaming — it’s all about that free shipping, right?). Amazon also owns a free streaming service, Freevee, but we’ve got some bad news for those who use it: Freevee will be shutting down for good soon.
