Hello from the beautiful and colorful Art of Animation Resort! It’s been a minute since we dined here on something that wasn’t sweet… (Not that we’re complaining. I mean…have you seen THIS COOKIE!?)
…so we decided to swing by Landscape of Flavors to see if one of our old favorites still stood up to our taste test! It’s time to go “Unda da Sea” — and no, we aren’t talking about visiting The Little Mermaid section of the resort.
This week we had a chance to swing by two of our favorite Value Resorts — Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Art of Animation Resort. Both resorts received some menu updates in their food courts, but first let’s check in on the progress of that Skyliner Station!
The new Skyliner System will connect these two resorts, as well as Caribbean Beach Resort and the new Riviera Resort, to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
I know, I know… we were just talking about new Refillable Resort Mugs hitting the shelves at a few Walt Disney World Resort counter service locations last week. BUT…
Those new Mickey Mouse Refillable Resort Mugs already have a new neighbor on the shelf — at least, that’s the case at Art of Animation Resort’s Landscape of Flavors Food Court. You see, along with the new Mickey Refillable Mugs, the bottom shelf has a new mug featuring Pixar pals! [Read more…]
A special piece of animation was introduced to the world on November 18, 1928 when Mickey Mouse appeared in Steamboat Willie. This past weekend, we celebrated the 90 Year Anniversary all over Walt Disney World.
So it’s fitting that we’re checking out What’s New at the Disney World Resort which celebrates the art of Disney films: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort!
Our first stop is the Ink and Paint Shop, where you’ll find the Birthday Mouse on holiday themed sketches (with some available to be personalized). SUPER cute gift idea for any Disney fans on your list. [Read more…]
All eyes are on the SKIES in Walt Disney World, as construction is well underway for the Disney Skyliner transportation system!
From support towers to Skyliner stations, Disney is gearing up for this new transportation system which will connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four Resorts: Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach and the upcoming Disney’s Riviera Resort. [Read more…]
EVEN MORE news today regarding the Free Dining Offer that has been released for guests traveling to Disney World in 2018!
This batch of news is specific to Disney Visa Cardholders who can book the 2018 Disney World Free Dining Offer now for arrival dates starting on August 2nd. (Arrival dates for general public begin August 20th.)

Another fun addition to the Disney “landscape” in 2012 will be Landcapes Cafe (ha ha…get it…?), the new food court at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort!
The food court will share space with the Ink and Paint Shop shopping area adjacent to Animation Hall — similar to Everything Pop at Pop Century Resort. According to DisneyWorld.com, Landscapes will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and feature four unique cooking stations serving pizza and pasta, all-American burgers, international favorites, fresh salads, and sandwiches. The standard “Grab ‘n Go” market selections will also be available.
