With a Sprinkles location in both Disney Springs and Downtown Disney, guests can visit Sprinkles after — or before –their day in the parks! And, much like Salt & Straw, Sprinkles is constantly coming out with new and unique flavors for guests to try. Speaking of new flavors, Sprinkles just announced what they’re baking in May!

A bill that will dissolve the Reedy Creek Improvement District (“RCID”) has passed the Florida Senate and House of Representatives, and been signed by the Florida Governor. The RCID is a special district that has allowed Disney World to essentially act as its own county and have a great deal of control over the land on which it operates in Orlando. There have been some, however, who have argued that there might be some MAJOR roadblocks that could stand in Florida’s way of dissolving the RCID. What if the RCID does get dissolved, though? What could happen next? Well some Florida lawmakers are chiming in with their thoughts.

Yep, we’re back at Salt & Straw in Disney Springs — AGAIN — trying yet another ice cream flavor because, hey, that’s what we do! We are in LOVE with this ice cream shop that JUST opened recently in Disney World — it’s given us some of the most unique ice cream flavors we’ve ever tried. Today, we’re back with another flavor!
April is over and to quote Mickey, “OH, BOY!” It was certainly a busy month in Disney World — at least when it comes to eating and drinking (something that we LOVE to do!).
New snack at a NEW restaurant!
With festive treats to celebrate Easter and Halfway to Halloween to price increases on several iconic snacks, there was already a lot to keep track of. But then Disney surprised us and opened up a BRAND NEW restaurant in EPCOT, Connections Cafe and Eatery. We’ve got a lot of menu updates to cover — so let’s get right to it!

April was a busy month for Disney World restaurants, though. We’ve seen a ton of more price increases, but we also saw the release of new…Halloween snacks? Yep, Disney is all about celebrating “Halfway To Halloween,” and we are here for it. But in the meantime, things are still changing on restaurant menus, and we’ve got ALL the updates from the last week of April!
Salt & Straw is the newest ice cream shop to open in Disney Springs, and with it comes some rather…unsual flavors.

We’re talking ice cream with black pepper, olive oil, and even cheese! Sure it’s a little weird, but somehow it totally WORKS. And, much like other Disney World sweet shops, you certainly won’t be bored because the menu ROTATES each month. The newest flavors to hit the menu are inspired by the spring (it is May, after all), and we stopped by to give them ALL a try!
