There’s a lot for guests to see at Walt Disney World this summer, including The Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, Bluey’s Wild World, and the revamped Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, just to name a few. That in turn means guests are flocking to Disney World’s hotels.
Those throngs of guests will encounter a lot of changes, as there are a slew of hotel perks… and hotel closures to navigate this summer.
We are proud Disney Adults, and that means we might notice things that other people don’t notice. One of those things was new trash cans!
While it doesn’t seem very exciting to some, these small additions make us feel like the parks are getting a refresh. We saw them in EPCOT, but good news — you’re going to see more.
Thanks to the addition of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and a massive increase in the usage of EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance thanks to the Skyliner, the World Showcase’s France Pavilion — and its Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie — has gotten much busier in recent years, and it’s created an issue.
Les Halles is a traditional French bakery which offers a full menu, ranging from soups and salads to fresh baguette sandwiches and pastries, as well as wine, champagne, beer, and gourmet coffees. However, one thing the eatery doesn’t offer? Mobile Order.
Disney+ is changing its advertising game — and you may not like it.
Over the past year, Disney+ has expanded its ad experiences to give advertisers new ways to engage audiences “while preserving the quality and experience that viewers expect on Disney platforms.” This also means new premium ad experiences for viewers, which means your Disney+ experience could be changing soon, if it hasn’t already.
There are lots of changes going on around Disney World these days! From big changes like the upcoming Monstropolis land to smaller things like merchandise stand closures (which are still big to us), there can be a lot of “new” around the parks these days.

EPCOT
Over in EPCOT, there’s a small change that we think is going to impact us in BIG ways. If you’re ready for a small upgrade to your day, we have the information here.
June has arrived, and with it comes the start of summer vacation season at Walt Disney World!
If you’re planning a visit to the “Most Magical Place on Earth” this month, there are a slew of perks and offers you NEED to take advantage of to make the most of your time at Disney World.
We’ve got MASSIVE news that just came out of EPCOT, and it’s got us VERY excited for what’s coming in July!
Refreshment Port near the Canada Pavilion has been closed for months now, but it was announced that it would be turning into La Poutinerie, sponsored by Air Canada, later this year. There was no opening date for the new spot, only the information that it was on its way, but now that’s changed — this new spot will officially be opening in July!
We hope you like cheese and carbs because EPCOT is about to be even MORE full of them!
La Poutinerie is replacing Refreshment Port, which was already known for its poutine dishes. The new spot will be sponsored by Air Canada, and promises to bring “a Canadian classic with a twist.” Disney has just announced that La Poutinerie will open on Canada Day, July 1st, and we’ve got a first look at the menu — so let’s get into it!
runDisney is a wildly popular offering in Disney World, as well as Disneyland, which means that registration days, like today, can get pretty intense!
While there are thousands of people who take part in each race, there is still a capacity challenge for many people. It’s recommended that if you want to register for a race, you’re on the website before the registration time, and are ready to work fast when you’re let in. Some races fill up faster than others, and nearly every time, there are numerous guests who aren’t able to register for the races they want before all the spots are gone. If you’ve been hoping to snag a spot in the runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, it’s time to lock in for registration!
