Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been BUSY this week. And no, we don’t just mean with crowds.
From some fun new collectibles to a LOT of new merchandise, we have so much to cover! Let’s dive right in.
Sometimes it’s fun to get out of our comfort zone and try new foods in Disney World, even if the flavor combination sounds bizarre — like with the 50th Celebration Cone, made with Dole Whip lemon and cookie dough soft serve (which oddly works!).
But still, not every Disney World dish or flavor combo works, and we’ve compiled a list of the best and worst foods we tried in March! Here’s what you might want to add to your next Disney World food list — and what you might not.
Ever sit inside of a darker Disney World ride and think to yourself “I wonder how awesome [creepy, weird, strange, incredible, fascinating, spooky, *insert word here*] this ride would look with the lights ON!“? Well, you’re not alone!
Disney makes purposeful use of lights and special effects to trick your eyes into seeing the “magic” that they want you to view. But, sometimes you might become witness to a very special situation. Turns out a ride stopping in the middle of your experience might not be a bad thing after all! 😂 Sometimes, when a ride breaks down, needs to be evacuated, or just temporarily stops, the lights in that attraction might all turn ON, giving you one of the most unique views of the ride that you’ll ever get! We ourselves, and some of our awesome readers, have experienced this multiple times and we’ve got all kinds of cool photos and videos to share with you. So…what are you waiting for?! Ready to spoil a bit of the magic? Read on!
It can be pretty hard to keep up with all of the changes happening in Disney World.
But that’s why we’re here! To make sure that you never miss an important Disney World update! There’s always something up in the parks, and we’re here to tell you everything that’s going to be different in the Disney World this April!
Sometimes things go wrong in Disney World. It can be something minor, like forgetting a poncho when it rains, or something major, like losing your wallet. But, some things are just simply out of your control — like how the rides run in the parks.
Rides can shut down without warning for a number of reasons like weather or technical difficulties. Sometimes you can even be ON the rides when they shut down and need to be evacuated. This is a unique experience in Disney World, as you usually get to see parts of the ride others don’t. So, if you’ve ever wanted to see what these evacuations can look like without getting stuck on a ride, we’ve got ya covered!
If you thought that new 50th anniversary merchandise was done being released in Disney World, you were wrong, friend!
But, we wouldn’t have blamed you for thinking that in the first place, because Disney has released SO much merchandise already. There was the whole Vault Collection, some awesome light-up ears, special Spirit Jerseys, fun popcorn buckets, and more. And, Disney recently announced 4 NEW collections coming in for the 50th anniversary, and we’ve just spotted one of the brand new pieces!
Wow, can you believe it’s already April?
So much has happened at Disney World since the beginning of the year as things begin to return to normal at the resort. We’re also still seeing a lot of menu updates at Disney World restaurants!
A huge part of any Disney World visit is the rides and attractions in each theme park. But what happens when some of these rides aren’t open?
Disney frequently refurbishes theme park rides to keep them all in great working order, which means that sometimes the attractions aren’t open to guests.
