We’ll admit we’re not HUGE fans of the table service options in Magic Kingdom — we’d rather just grab some Cheeseburger Spring Rolls for lunch and a Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich from Sleepy Hollow for dinner.

REVIEW: Disney World’s Newest Popcorn Treat Is NOT For the Weak 😤

No trip to Disney World is complete without a sweet treat. That’s a rule. (And also a great rhyme.)

One of our favorite places to grab a treat is at the iconic Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom. Here, you can choose from a seemingly endless array of treats, from popular Mars Wrigley candies, to crisped rice treats, to cupcakes, cookies, marshmallow pops, and MORE. One of our favorite things to do here, though, is visit the Kernel Kitchen popcorn station at the very back of the shop. Cast Members will allow you to customize a bowl of popcorn with candies and syrups, and you can even opt for one of Disney’s popcorn mixes. They make it right in front of you, and it’s pretty cool. There’s a new popcorn mix that’s up for grabs right now, and we’re headed to check it out.

How Close Is Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to Opening? Check Out These 2 Big Updates!

Disney just loves keeping us on our toes — and the progress over at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom has kept us occupied for quite a while now.

We’ve seen plenty of concept art, had our first sneak peek inside the ride, and recently learned new details about what we can expect in terms of animatronics and Splash Mountain easter eggs! Not only that, but we’ve noticed quite a few updates being added to the ride in Magic Kingdom — and we think the ride may be closer to opening than Disney may be letting on!

Disney World MOVES Ride Entrance Due to Construction

Things are changing a lot in Disney World these days!

The EPCOT transformation is nearly complete, several hotels are getting big makeovers, and the old Splash Mountain is getting converted into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom. Outside of the ride being closed, that last one hasn’t affected park traffic too much…until now!

We’ve been watching the progress on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for nearly a year now in Disney World.

Splash Mountain closed in 2023 to make way for the new Princess and the Frog-themed log flume ride, and construction has been moving along quickly. We’ve seen sneak peeks at what the ride will look like, from concept art to scale models, but now we’ve got one more hint about what we’ll find inside!

The Princess and the Frog-themed ride is currently under construction in Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. So far, we’ve gotten a pretty vague opening timeline (sometime in 2024), but some great sneak peeks as to what we can expect. Now, though, we’ve gotten one heck of a sneak peek, filled to the brim with details, and we’re so excited to share it.
