Coronado Springs
Several of the Disney World Resorts are home to convention centers, which means they can see heavy crowds whenever a conference, competition, or event is being held there. This seems to be a particularly strong problem with the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Coronado Springs Resort. And now, there’s another BIG event slated for Coronado Springs in 2026.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
2026 will bring us the reopening of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the spring and lots of construction as new updates begin around the parks. This year will also bring a few changes to several Disney World Resort hotels. If you’re planning to stay at one of the many Disney hotels, be aware of the following changes happening and consider them as you begin planning your vacation.
Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa is way more than just a hotel (but when has Disney EVER made a resort that was JUST a hotel). It’s an entire experience located in Hawaii with great food, fun activities, recreation, character interactions, and so much more.
Aulani
We’ve had a chance to visit Aulani, and there was SO much to do, and we can’t wait until we can go back. Well, the universe might be telling us something because Disney just dropped two NEW discounts for a stay at Aulani, so if you’ve been thinking about booking that trip to Hawaii, here’s your excuse!
Now that we’ve kicked off the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival and seen the opening of The Beak and Barrel in Magic Kingdom, we can take a little bit of a breather…

Just kidding! We never take a break from Disney food (and why would we want to?). So this week, we took the opportunity to revisit one of our favorite underrated Disney World hotel restaurants, as well as checked out a new EPCOT Food and Wine Festival breakfast buffet offering. PLUS Disney World restaurants were busy getting changed this week, and we always have to keep you updated on that. So let’s get to those updates.

This is THE BEST day!
Over in Disneyland, there are lots of delicious dining options to try, even at quick-service restaurants (although some people think the only good dishes require dining reservations, that’s not the case!). In fact, one of our favorite entrees in the park is FINALLY now available at a quick-service location, and we couldn’t be happier.

It’s incredible how many celebrities often visit Disneyland, although it makes sense because Disneyland IS so close to Hollywood, after all. Recently, the stars of Freakier Friday, including Jamie Lee Curtis, paid “The Happiest Place on Earth” a visit. Matt Damon was recently photographed with Donald Duck there. Emma Roberts has been spotted there, too. Even more recently, though, High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale was spotted in Disneyland with her family!
