On both October 23rd and 25th, EPCOT’s opening will be delayed by an hour. The park will open to the public at 10 AM each day, with Early Entry for Disney World hotel guests beginning at 9:30 AM instead of 8:30 AM, but it’s for a good reason.

I’ve been going to Disney World’s EPCOT Food & Wine Festival long enough to know a few things. And I learned it the hard way on my most recent trip.

I followed one of the most basic pieces of Food & Wine advice, showed up EARLY to beat the crowds, and somehow STILL missed out on the exact dish I came for. And the worst part? I actually SAW the food I wanted come out of the kitchen. Just a few minutes too late.
Not only will a NEW Disney World Hotel open in less than a year, but it will also be built on Bay Lake, joining the list of iconic Magic Kingdom area hotels.
