Now, don’t get us wrong, we’ve been enjoying our time at the Food & Wine Festival, snacking on such delicious things like an Impossible Gyro, Glazed BBQ Pork Belly, Avocado Toast, Black & Tan Potato Puffs, and more! But we found two new dishes outside of the festival to try, too!
It’s the holiday season, and you know what that means: new treats, new decorations, new character meet and greets, and new holiday parties! There’s SO much to see and do (on both coasts!), but lucky for you we’re here to show you all Disney’s new holiday offerings.

Disneyland 20th Anniversary Water Bottle
On this day 20 years ago, this park opened across the street from Disneyland, and we’re so glad it is part of the Disney fam! We’ve been celebrating the anniversary all day with different eats and merchandise, and we’ve also found a diamond to celebrate the anniversary fun!

In late 2020, Buena Vista Street reopened as an extension of Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort.
Carthay Circle at California Adventure
We were once again reunited with corn dogs from Award Wieners, and more! We even got to try the new Carthay Circle Lounge — Alfresco Dining experience. Bot too long after, dining was prohibited at Disneyland due to a stay-at-home order. But, the stay-at-home order has now been lifted and restaurants have started offer in-person dining again at Downtown Disney. And now Carthay Circle and 2 other Buena Vista spots have official reopening dates!
Just a few days ago, we were munching on holiday cupcakes and more all around Disneyland Resort and the newly reopened Buena Vista Street.

But, things have quickly changed in California. Last week, Governor Newsom announced that stay-at-home orders would be imposed for regions based on ICU availability. This weekend, Southern California (the region that Disneyland Resort is located in) reached the set ICU capacity level, triggering the stay-at-home order for that region. Under this new order, restaurants can only be open for takeout or delivery. Disneyland confirmed that some of the restaurants at the resort would remain open for takeout under this order, while others would entirely close. Here’s a full list of what restaurants are and are not open at Disneyland Resort based on our trip today.
With Buena Vista Street now open, we’ve got LOTS more shopping and dining to do all throughout Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort!
