Oh yeah my friends, you read that title right.
Loaded Corn Dog Nuggets have made their way to Casey’s Corner in Disney World! We repeat, LOADED Corn Dog Nuggets are now at Casey’s Corner!

We made it just in time to catch (pun entirely intended) Casey’s daily First Pitch! What’s that, you ask? Just read on…
Not a moment too soon, the original Corn Dog Nuggets have RETURNED to Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom!
You may recall that just over a week ago, we reported that Casey’s popular Corn Dog Nuggets underwent a sudden change when the mini dogs making up said nuggets had been swapped out for chicken. [Read more…]
If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that the combination of salty hot dog and savory corn meal batter is a winning one… most of the time. At Casey’s Corner in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, the Corn Dog Nugget has been a favorite snack (and more recently a favorite entree — see it here!) for years, but recently we learned that things inside the nugget just aren’t the same.
That’s right: something is amiss, and we made a special trip to Casey’s to investigate. [Read more…]

Question: If you go to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and skip Casey’s Corner, were you ever really there?
Well, I can’t speak for everybody. But in my case, the answer is: Nope! Especially now that plastic cheese is back.
Wait. That’s not right. PLASTIC CHEESE IS BACK! You know how I love this King of All Condiments — ooey, gooey yellow cheese that comes on rib-sticking favorites like Chili Cheese Nachos.
Well, by now you know that Plastic Cheese disappeared for a while. We found some from time to time, but it was never enough. And we still couldn’t dunk our Corn Dog Nuggets in it whilst gazing lovingly at Cinderella Castle from the quaint patio of Casey’s Corner.
Thank goodness those dark days are over! Welcome back to Casey’s Corner, home of amazing hot dogs and even more amazing plastic cheese!
Casey’s is quintessential Main Street, U.S.A., fulfilling Walt’s vision of a Main Street reminiscent of one of his childhood home in Marceline, Missouri. It’s got tremendous architectural detail, from intricate molding to fabulous window casings.
Inside the small ordering area are lots of decor pieces harkening back to a simpler time. Oh, and there’s lots of classy striped wallpaper, too (which I kind of love). [Read more…]

Hold your horses, cowpokes!
Because we’ve got a tasty new combo to show you courtesy of Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe.
Here’s the deal: you may already know (and love!) the Corn Dog Nuggets made famous in the Magic Kingdom thanks to Casey’s Corner. And now that PLASTIC CHEESE has returned to the beloved hot dog haven, you can dip those Nuggets right on into what I consider the World’s Best Condiment.
Plastic Cheese used to be available at Pecos Bill’s, too, when it was the Magic Kingdom’s most popular burger joint. But a few years ago this Counter Service spot switched to Mexican and Southwest-style fare, and the Pecos Bill’s Fixin’s Bar followed suit. (Plus Plastic Cheese had likewise been removed from Counter Service restaurants all over Disney World, anyhoo.)
But things are looking up with regard to CHEESE at Pecos Bill’s, because Queso Blanco has hit the scene! And we couldn’t help but immediately pair it up with a certain item on the Kids’ Menu, so we can now proudly present to you: Corn Dog Nuggets and Queso Blanco!
I’m a huge fan of queso blanco, and when it originally showed up on the menu at Pecos Bill’s, I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, it was lackluster, to say the least. Prepackaged. Lukewarm. Just… blah. [Read more…]

There are some fantastic new things to enjoy around Walt Disney World — and especially at Animal Kingdom. But that doesn’t mean we’re going to forget our favorites! So today, we’re heading back to Tusker House.
The buffet restaurant has been around for quite some time now, but I’ve continued to think of it as a hidden gem. Not only does it offer a character dining experience — and now, you can dine with your Disney friends for breakfast, lunch, and dinner — but the menu is also more interesting than most that you’ll find in Disney buffets.
The last time I visited, it was to enjoy that sort of between-breakfast-and-lunch period. (It’s not technically called brunch, but that’s sorta kinda what it is.) This time, we’re taking in an evening meal to see if everything is still as awesome as it always has been.
You’ll find Tusker House in the village of Harambe. Just head back like you’re going to Kililmanjaro Safaris, and you’ll see it on your left.
The themeing here is superb, as it is with every other part of Animal Kingdom. The restaurant itself is fashioned as the Safari Orientation Centre, with rooms tumbling into one another. [Read more…]
YAY!!! Our Cute Food Art friend Donna Yan has a whole new series… and this one is dedicated to Disney World snacks!
If you’ve been following along with the Cute Food Art series, then you’ve already enjoyed seeing Donna’s adorable, playful artwork featuring iconic Disney snacks. While you can find a lot of these snacks in both Disney World and Disneyland, there are many west coast-specific prints to check out in honor of some Disneyland favorites.
The Disney World series likewise features some snacks you can only find in Disney World, starting with the Master’s Cupcake and Lemon-Raspberry Cream Puff — exclusive treats at Be Our Guest Restaurant!
Belle’s books, Mrs. Potts, and Chip make cameo appearances, along with what I can only assume is an Enchanted Rose.
Corn Dog Nuggets from Casey’s Corner are diving in to little teeny dishes of ketchup and mustard! [Read more…]
